5/11/21: The Cyber Stasi

If you were to ask anyone on the street a year ago about cyber terrorism, I am sure you would be met with blank stares. Back then, the majority of people would have thought that something like cyberterrorism does not affect them directly.

There are a small percentage of people that say to me that they live off the grid but whether they know it or not, they are affected by the grid system in one way or another.

The attack on the Colonial Pipeline has awakened many people to the vulnerabilities of important infrastructure and how it needs protection from cyber criminals.

Gas stations along the East Coast are beginning to run out of fuel as America’s biggest petroleum pipeline tries to recover from a paralyzing cyberattack that has kept it shut for days.

From Virginia to Florida and Alabama, stations are reporting that they’ve sold out of gasoline as supplies in the region dwindle and panic buying sets in. An estimated 7% of gas stations in Virginia were out of fuel as of late Monday.

The White House said in a statement it is monitoring the situation and directing government agencies to help alleviate any shortages. Colonial Pipeline Co. said it’s manually operating a segment of the pipeline running from North Carolina to Maryland and expects to substantially restore all service by the weekend.

The Colonial Pipeline has been shut down since late Friday. On Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation pointed the finger at a ransomware gang known as DarkSide. While President Joe Biden stopped short of blaming the Kremlin for the attack, he said “there is evidence” the hackers or the software they used are “in Russia.”

However, we need to be reminded that President Biden’s decision to lift former President Trump’s ban on China involvement in the U.S. grid gives the communists a backdoor opening to attacking the nation’s grid system and other vital systems that can cripple the country just by hitting the enter button on a keyboard.

During the Trump administration, the White House and the Pentagon were urged to focus on the issue and begin protecting key facilities. But the energy industry has been slow to act.

The Colonial Pipeline slipped through the cracks, which seems a bit suspect especially when we are being told that we need to find alternative energy sources and President Biden is now considering using outside firms to track extremist chatter by Americans and other “bad actors” online, an effort that would expand the government’s ability to gather intelligence.

The Department of Homeland Security is limited in how it can monitor citizens online without justification and is banned from activities like assuming false identities to gain access to private messaging apps used by so-called extremist groups.

Instead, federal authorities can only browse through unprotected information on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook and other open online platforms. A source familiar with the effort said it is not about decrypting data but rather using outside entities who can legally access these private groups to gather large amounts of information that could help DHS identify key narratives as they emerge.

The plan being discussed inside DHS, according to multiple sources, would, in effect, allow the department to circumvent those limits.

Literally, creating a Cyber Stasi.

Their excuse for doing this is again, based in the Biden administrations crack down on domestic terrorism.

However, the real reason for this is for suppressing all digital dissent against the Democratic stronghold as they continuing consolidating their de facto one-party rule of the country.

We’ve already seen moves to brand all kinds of dissent – whether questioning the election result, countering COVID hysteria or warning about possible dangers of vaccines – and any and all discussion about whether or not COVID-19 was leaked form a Lab or used as a bioweapon against the United States.

The White House claims that the intent is to “help provide a broad picture of who perpetuating what are called ‘narratives’ of concern”, after which “the FBI could theoretically use that pool of information to focus on specific individuals if there is enough evidence of a potential crime to legally do so.

The Cyber Stasi will be “fellow” citizens who spy on one another and produce purported “evidence” of “potential crimes” for “justifying” the FBI’s “legal” investigations.

I am sure the Colonial Pipeline event will be used as a justification for the Biden dystopia to urge citizens to spy on each other online. The resolution always seems to be punishing the American people by taking draconian measure to curtail their rights.

In a report filed by CNN on May 3rd it was reported that the whole system proposed is to track dissenting narratives against the Biden administration.

CNN quoted an unnamed senior intelligence official who asked, “What do you do about ideology that’s leading to violence? Do you have to wait until it leads to violence?”, thereby hinting that this initiative might likely be exploited to stop so-called “pre-crime”, or crimes before they occur.

Put another way, even those average Americans who practice their constitutionally enshrined right to the freedom of speech to peacefully dissent against the ruling party might find themselves targeted by the security services depending on how the contracted “researchers” spin their words.

It should be remembered that even Americans’ constitutionally enshrined right to the freedom of assembly is nowadays under scrutiny depending on the stated reason behind their planned peaceful protests.

CNN obsessed with the use of the Nazi euphemism “The Big Lie” often use the alleged voter fraud scandal and the January 6th opposition as a game changer.

They claim that this justifies these draconian security measures in order to restrict Americans’ freedoms and weed out “narratives of concern.”

It’s neither here nor there whether one sincerely believes that the election was stolen since the purpose in pointing these double standards out is to prove that average Americans are being politically discriminated against with the implied threat of legal intimidation when it comes to exercising their constitutional rights about “politically incorrect” issues of concern to them.

There is also the term, “narratives of concern” that seems to be Orwellian speak for “conspircy theory.”

FBI director Christopher Wray has been emphatic during recent public testimony that the bureau does not investigate ideologies or even conspiracy theories in and of themselves but restricts its social media monitoring to cases where they believe a crime, or potential crime, was committed.

Although the reported purpose of the “Cyber Stasi” is to preemptively thwart emerging “domestic terrorist plots”, it can’t be discounted that the combination of political Russophobia and “mission creep” will combine to create additional objectives such as stopping the spread of so-called “Russian disinformation” throughout society.

We have willingly allowed for a snitch society where neighbors are used to weaponized gossip and hearsay in order to frame those we do not like.

There have been many people that have warned that this will destroy America but they have been called conspiracy theorists, those who according to the Biden edict raise narratives of concern.

With this in mind, those average Americans who dare to share a narrative of concern, even in private chats amidst the presence of “deep state” infiltrators “researchers” employed as “Cyber Stasi” might be targeted by the FBI.

The social impact will certainly mirror that of East Germany during its darkest days of Stasi rule; only this time, the Cyber Stasi will be in the process of enforcing thought crime.

In “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” the most frightening aspect of George Orwell’s dystopian society is its demand that people must be penalized not just for what they do but for what they think — their “thought crimes.”

We are already seeing the cancel culture punishing people socially — if not legally — for harboring unapproved views.

This new move will not only give them more power. It will be power that will most certainly be abused by more than just corporatist social media owners.

You see he authoritarians in 1984 weren’t all that interested in controlling behavior or speech. They do, of course, but it’s only as a means to an end. Their real goal was to control the mind. Their goal was to groom the population and manufacturing consent for the horrific actions against those who would speak out against the party.

Big Brother’s tool for doing this was the Thought Police, aka the ThinkPol, who were assigned to root out and punish unapproved thoughts.

Thought Police don’t want to kill nonconformists so much as break them. This happens in Room 101 of the Ministry of Love, where prisoners are re-educated through degradation and torture.

Many Americans today are virtually unaware of the histories of countries that have in the past, imposed these draconian actions against their people –and many in the mainstream media will tell you that we must trust that the experts have our best interests at heart.

Most Americans cannot imagine that we have been entrapped by an unaccountable psychopathic elite who have subverted our democracies; have captured and undermined our institutions; have caused economic devastation the world over; have spawned a global mental health crisis which will reverberate for generations.

Most Americans will tell you that they are not at all concerned that we are headed for a great reset where everything about who we are will be destroyed and rebuilt for the golden age of transhumanism and the image of the technocratic elite.

To say this is blasphemous and anathema.

The global influence of many of these high-profile individuals is growing. Together they have been forming grandiose plans. They will vaccinate the entire world. They will block out the sun. They will feed is GMO foods, and treat us like slaves and will require us to help them Build Back Better.

We have blinded ourselves like abused children, to the reality of what our leaders are asking of us. When they separate us from our loved ones, suffocate us with masks, inject us with experimental vaccines, remove our civil liberties, crash our economy, close our schools, harm our children and encourage us to spy on one another we justify their behavior; we accept their lies and their attempts to control us. We reassure ourselves that they are keeping us safe.

We also look to the media for reassurance – to journalists and ‘public health experts’ to inform and guide us, to put our nascent feelings into words, to do our thinking for us. We may suspend our critical judgement in our desire for ‘news’ and reliable ‘facts’. And so we overlook the scandals, the cover-ups, diversions and corruption; we absorb their distortions and propaganda; the artfully conceived scapegoats that keep our hatreds focused elsewhere and our society divided. We may fail to notice the relentless construction of a world that benefits the predator class.

We don’t imagine that legacy media journalists are doing the will of the party — that they encourage the implementation of a Cyber Stasi or a big brother.

We don’t want to believe this is happening.

And so terrorized by fear and shame and relentless propaganda, we fall back on the protection of our psychopathic programmers.

As we are seeing the shift from sickened pandemic society to a technocratic scarcity society with technological terror and threats that we are supposed to domesticate and plug into

We are shielding ourselves from an existential threat more overwhelming to us than any virus, or viral technology and that is denial.

Because deep down, we have known all along about the danger we are in, but we ignored the warnings of our inner compass, we ignored the red flags and the brutality and the glaring inconsistencies.

We have had programmed into us that we should listen primarily to propaganda. We are just learning that there are holes that are now being explored in our paper heroes and experts – that have skeletons in their closets and conflicts of interest where they have profited from the deaths of hundreds of thousands.

We have shielded ourselves from the horror of acknowledging that we are powerless and vulnerable and totally alone in an indifferent Universe. And because a life of servitude seemed preferable to one of existential terror, we collaborated with our oppressors.

We sympathized with them and became victims of a sick form of Stockholm Syndrome.

The time of living a no risk life is over and the time of waking out of this manufactured consent needs to happen now.

Yes, we are always going to be seeing 21st century threats in our lives but that does not mean that we need to spy on one another—and destroy those who have ideas that are outside of the box.

It is counter-intuitive. It is also un-American.

We need to conclude that individuals that enforce the cancel culture are a psychologically distinct minority group; although their numbers are limited, their reach is extensive, and the destruction they can cause is immeasurable.

While their relentless, unforgiving lies and manipulations are reminiscent of the Nazi brownshirts –we need to not write them off as a nuisance but understand that many of them are highly functioning and thrive in professions and corporations that value the opportunistic and the ruthless. Their ‘madness’ – such as it is – lies in their lack of conscience, their absolute freedom from ethical constraints. These disturbed and disturbing souls are more fittingly characterized as morally insane.

Many of them are in Hollywood, they are on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News. They are teaching your children, they are on the school board, they sit in the city council, they are your judges, your mayors, your governors, they are congressman, they lurk in the Pentagon, they officiate in the national security matrix, the Deep State—and the White House.

But the most disconcerting of all – is that in times like these they can be your neighbors.

When the Berlin Wall came down in November 1989, it was revealed that the Stasi, East Germany’s secret police, had a full-time staff of 91,000. That sounds like a lot, and it is, but what’s frightening is that the organization had almost double that in informants, including children. And it wasn’t just children reporting on parents; sometimes it was the other way around.

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, fortunately, largely protects Americans from the creepy authoritarian systems found in 1984, East Germany, and China; but the rise of “cancel culture” shows the pressure to conform to all sorts of remains strong.

The thing most disconcerting is that pointing this out is now a narrative of concern.
