One can prove whether the earth is spherical or flat by measuring a “straight line distance” between 2 points on the surface by utilizing what is called the Great-Circle Distance, Spherical Distance, or the Orthodromic Distance, which takes into account the distance between 2 points on the surface of a sphere. However, if the distance measured happens to be the “Straight Line Distance” between these 2 points on the surface of the globe, & not the Great-Circle Distance, then this would prove w/o a doubt the earth is flat. Someone’s opinion about about a flat earth believing person or a round earther person does not change the FACTS surrounding the question. Everytime I see a discussion on the subject, the only comments that make sense from the round earth person is that they disregard facts and want to make the person supporting flat earth appear whacko. Nothing can be further from the truth. I found the person supporting round earth concept to be extremely shallow and in many cases not even plausible. The fact is that Admiral Byrd did in fact say that there is land beyond the ice ring. The way to determine the truth isn’t to argue the point. If I were to agree with the round earth person, the only thing it would prove is that we were both wrong. Why are people prevented from simply going down to the ice ring and beyond to see the truth. Yet we are prevented from doing so by the major world powers. Why is there never any stars in the moon shot photos? Astronauts refused to answer the question. Just like everyone else in the world your view is simply one man’s opinion.
The earth is FLAT… there is NO space and NOTHING gets in or out of the firmament.
