We have been arguing for years about the unethical way that Liberals/Democrats keep their ever increasing spending in government going – by using the scare tactics, and knee jerk emotional grabs in order to scare the tar out of their constituents.
The GOP says they want to overhaul the obviously broken Social Security system – the Dems and all of their progressive support groups (George Soros) come out all over the place with “Granny will have to eat DOG FOOD because she won’t be able to afford to buy food, now”. Result? Older folks, who are making up a larger and larger portion of the voters, become convinced that the evil Republicans are going to ruin what is left of their lives.
The GOP says that they want to overhaul the Welfare system, and the progressives and Democrat congress people hollering that the nasty Republicans don’t CARE about the inner city people. that they are EVIL RACISTS, and don’t care about all the poor little babies who will go without food as a result of these draconian cuts. Result? Well, we don’t see much in the way of Welfare reform, do we?
