First, NPR decides to meet with a group that is decidedly anti American, anti capitalism, anti freedom from their own writings and information.
Then, on top of that, you have some person named Ron Schiller who is willing to do darn near anything including commit bigotry and anti Semitism in order to whore himself into 5 million dollars for NPR. For all that, frankly, he may believe what he said. But he is the kind of “salesperson” that will do anything for money and gives the rest a bad name.
You have little Betsy Liley sitting next to him, nodding and parroting like she believed and touted everything that Schiller was spouting.
Now, the really interesting news? The NPR folks were only denying the money while they were in public.
Betsy Liley, it appears, was working with the “Muslim Brotherhood” to take that 5 million and add the money into their coffers, no questions asked.
This, to me, is like taking a drug dealers money because “I can do some good with it.”
