Gays: When Silence Isn’t Good Enough

Do you recall when your mom taught you that if you didn’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all? Just keep silent and then you wouldn’t be able to offend anyone.

For Eric Holder’s Department of (so-called) Justice, that’s not good enough and thanks goes out to a friend of mine – Greg – for bringing this to my attention. Apparently, whistle blowers inside the DOJ are fed up enough with this latest controversy to have contacted the Liberty Counsel to “express grave concerns over this administration’s latest attack on freedom.”

A document from within DOJ boasts 7 habits of highly effective managers when dealing with issues that affect LGBT inclusion in the work place. The seventh habit states, “Know How to Respond If an Employee Comes Out to You” and tells people up front “DON’T judge or remain silent. Silence will be interpreted as disapproval.”
