The Audacity/Arrogance of Democrats

~~If you aren’t watching FOX News, you probably still don’t know who Jonathan Gruber (known as Mr. Mandate) is, but he knows a lot about you.  He knows you are stupid, too stupid to know the Obama Administration was lying to you about the ‘Affordable’ Care Act.  He knows there’s no point in explaining the economics of the Massachusetts health care law to you because you wouldn’t understand. He also knows that if the administration told you up front what was ‘in’ the healthcare law, you wouldn’t want it and even the Democrat majority wouldn’t have passed it.  The conclusion is that since Jonathan and the Obama administration knew what you needed, lying to you to get it was acceptable.  Where does all this hubris come from?  President Obama thinks he can unilaterally ignore laws he doesn’t like, change them, rule by fiat, in spite of the fact that he has been overruled by the Supreme Court at least 13 times in unanimous decisions.  The problem with that is until those cases weave their way through the courts and get to the Supreme Court, he gets what he wants.

President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have presided over the largest expansion of the power of the federal government in modern history, an intrusion so large that it endangers the Constitution, the liberty and the freedom Americans have enjoyed.  The legitimacy doesn’t seem to matter too much.
