BREAKING: Gunman Opens Fire in German Movie Theater, SWAT On Scene
German newspapers Bild and Der Spiegel are reporting that a “heavily armed” opened fire in a crowded theater in Hessen, Germany and is now in a stand-off with police.
Bild reports that the SEK, a German SWAT unit, is on the scene. So far, no injuries or deaths are reported and it is possible the gunman fired only in the air so far.
He is “heavily armed,” and “disguised” and has a “cartridge belt over his shoulder” according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine. We will update this post with information if it becomes available.
