I think the MSM can be OK only if the government imposes a law demanding that the source of the information they publish on “name”, “organization”, “time” must be broadcasted with the information itself and the source of their source, so that the information can be verified.
Transparency means telling people where they got the specific information from in the first place. So that the source can be traced and held responsible for the news they produced.
I just hear the news talking about poll number without saying who the pollster was and who handed out that information. Those information doesn’t need to be secret. It should be mandatory by law for the news anchor to reveal that information to the public, to prevent irresponsible pollsters giving wrong information to the public.
If it turned out that the poll number was forged later, the pollster and the corresponding MSM media will be discredited and will be out of business fast. This should be the beginning of a transparent society.
