Democrats Introduce Bill To Pack The Supreme Court

This bill is going nowhere.

Even if it were not for the filibuster, it would be blocked in the Senate by moderate Democrats. Still though, this tells you something about the mindset of progressives that they want to pack the Supreme Court, abolish the Electoral College, create new states and federalize elections. They also support a big amnesty for illegal aliens and oppose election integrity laws. What is the common thread here?

“House and Senate Democrats will introduce legislation Thursday to expand the number of Supreme Court justices to 13 from nine, drawing more attention to the debate surrounding court reform.

The bill, led by Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), is the first legislation in recent years designed to add seats to the high court, and its introduction comes as progressive organizations are pushing for court expansion, after watching Senate Republicans fill three Supreme Court vacancies in four years under President Donald Trump. …”

There is a very simple reason why progressives do not have power.

Progressives tend to be upper middle class, college educated metropolitan and suburban professionals. They are concentrated in big cities and coastal areas. They are animated by their cosmopolitan and modernist values and waging a culture war against rural working class voters in Middle America. This is why they want to flood Middle America with millions of Third World immigrants in order to replace the voters who live there.
