Restraining Order Issued Against Biden Administration Policy for Discrimination (Video)
Judge William Griesbach found in an order issued on 10 June 2021 that the Biden administration policy violated equal treatment of Americans under the law. The court ruling results from a legal challenge by white farmers who argue the policy discriminates against them.
The $4 billion federal loan relief program was implemented to address inequities for farmers of color. Instead, the new Biden policy used “race-based criteria in the administration of the program” which violates the “right to equal protection under the law”.
The temporary restraining order issued by Judge William Griesbach blocks the Department of Agriculture from proceeding with the farm loan relief program. In what seems to be a clear case of reverse racism, the administration steps for the $4 billion federal loan relief program were seen to favor farmers of color while discriminating against white farmers.
