Thousands of Palestinians pray at al-Aqsa Mosque ahead of International Quds Day

As the end of Ramadan approaches, so does Quds Day, an international event where people come out to show their support for the Palestinian cause.

Quds Day is more relevant than ever, as past week have seen increased violence by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians. Israeli occupation forces attacked worshippers again during Ramadan inside Aqsa Mosque, raids in Jenin, Nablus and other areas of the occupied West Bank.

Only past weeks have been marked by increased brutality by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians, making the calls for Palestinian national liberation and reinforcing the meaning behind Quds Day itself, making it more relevant than ever before.
