Massive missile strike by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine: what is known by the end of the day.

Russian forces struck critical infrastructure in Ukraine during the day. Electricity, water and communication problems occurred in some parts of the country.

🔻 Kiev: a series of arrivals and explosions. Locals reported the operation of air defence assets. North 330 substation is presumed to have been damaged.

🔻Kramatorsk: a flight over an infrastructure facility, the city was de-energised. Power went out in Slovyansk, Druzhkivka, Konstantinovka and Dobropillya.

🔻Odessa: explosions in the vicinity and region, one of the two autotransformers of the Novoodesskaya 330 substation was damaged, as well as the Artsiz and Usatovo substations. In Odessa itself, pumping stations and back-up lines were not functioning

🔻Dnepropetrovsk: Arrivals in the vicinity of the city, pumping stations of one of the five vodokanals were de-energised. The Dniprovska 750 substation could potentially have been hit.

🔻Zaporozhie: Explosions in the city and region, including in the village of Novosofievka. Dnepr-Donbass substation damaged. Water supply lost in a number of districts.

🔻 Cherkasy: arrivals in Cherkasy and Uman, emergency blackouts introduced in the region.

🔻Poltava: explosions in the vicinity of Kremenchug.

🔻Sumy: series of explosions in the region. Presumably hits to Sumy Substation 330.
🔻Nikolayev: series of explosions in the city centre and suburbs.

🔻Krivoy Rog: a power facility was hit, power was lost in some areas.

🔻Kharkov region: explosions in Kharkov as well as in Lozovsky and Volchansky districts.

🔻 A rocket booster was found in the vicinity of the Moldovan town of Briceni on the Ukrainian border.

According to preliminary reports, the projectile belongs to the Ukrainian S-300 air defence system.

Power supply was fully or partially lost in Cherkasy, Lvov, Nykolayev, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Odessa region. Long-term power outages are looming across the country.

Today, the focus of the strikes has shifted to Odessa region, which has suffered more than other regions. Strikes in central and eastern Ukraine have resulted in extensive blackouts, the extent of which has not yet been determined.

However, the nature of the strikes again suggests that autotransformers were targeted. It is likely that critical damage to substations has still not been done.

ONE MORNING – TWO DIVERSIONS? WHAT HAPPENED AT THE AIRFIELDS NEAR RYAZAN AND IN ENGELS
This morning, explosions occurred at military facilities in Ryazan and Engels – attacks were carried out on airfields. Experts have no doubt: we are talking about sabotage. In anticipation of official comments, we tell you what is known by this hour.

Three people were killed and five injured in an explosion at an aircraft parking lot at the airfield in Engels in the Saratov region. Sources report that the attack was carried out with the participation of a drone. There was a similar incident in Ryazan, also at the airfield. A fuel tanker exploded – so far three dead and six injured have been reported.

Military experts have no doubt: we are talking about sabotage. It remains to wait for official comments. In the meantime, let’s tell you what happened in a little more detail.

Ryazan Attack
The explosion occurred at night at the airfield in Diaghilev. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a fuel tanker caught fire. As a result, three people were killed and six others were injured. Emergency services personnel continue to work on the spot. Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Ryazan region arrived. However, it must be understood that when attacking a military facility, civilian structures will not be able to draw any conclusions. If the incident is recognized as an attack on the airfield, the investigation will be handled by the Ministry of Defense.

In the meantime, eyewitnesses say one thing:

The explosion was so strong that it was heard in the military camp.

The emergency services added that the plane was damaged during the attack. However, it is still unclear which one. In general, the representative of the department adds:

Previously, a fuel tanker caught fire as a result of an explosion. According to preliminary information, nine people were injured, three of them died.

The attack in Engels
In the Saratov region, according to unofficial information, the attack was carried out using a drone. As a result, two aircraft were damaged. It is unclear where exactly the drone was launched from. If from Ukraine, it means that the air defense system worked badly. If from the territory of Russia, then we are dealing with an investigation by the special services.

In any case, the possibility of such attacks must be taken into account, since NATO, with the hands of its Ukrainian puppets, will seek to strike at the Russian military infrastructure.

The civil authorities, represented by Governor Roman Busargin, clarify that there is no damage to civilian objects:

There is no reason to worry. Information about incidents at military facilities is checked by law enforcement agencies.

Once again, we note that enemy special services can carry out sabotage in the rear.

As I have repeatedly written, Ukraine will strike not in response to something, as we declare for some reason, but simply based on its capabilities. There is a technical opportunity to hit the airfields of the Crimea – please. If you reach the oil depot near Orel, you will get it. Is Saratov too far away? Despite Kiev’s attempts to disrupt the combat work of long-range aviation, a massive blow was inflicted on the military command and control system and energy facilities of Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced.

Add to this a weak and at the moment half disarmed army, from which contractors who do not want to go to war with Russia have begun to leave.

In the UK, there has been a graduation of AFU fighters trained, the last this year. Frontline report for the morning of 05.12.2022

On the Donetsk front, Russian troops continue to attack. On the southern flank they carried out assault actions near Novomikhailovka. Fierce fighting in the city limits of Marinka. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are attacking. To the north they are advancing on Pervomayskoye. They are also attacking Vodyanoye. Artillery is firing at the Ukrainian army’s strongholds in Krasnohorivka and Avdiivka. The Ukrainian army responded with strikes on Donetsk and Makiivka. (Fig. 1)

North-east of Soledar, Russian forces are trying to break through the defences in Donetsk’s Bilohorivka and Nagorny. The latter is crossed by a railway line that supplies the AFU. (Fig. 2)

In the Luhansk direction, Russian forces from the southeast attempted to attack the local town of Belogorovka along a highway. To the north, there were counterattacks near Krasnopopovka and Ploshchanka.
