Dmitry Medvedev’s comment on Putin’s and Biden’s speeches :

1. Yesterday we had an address by the President of Russia to the Federal Assembly, in which, among other things, he announced the suspension of our participation in START III. A long overdue decision, the inevitability of which I noted last year. A decision prompted by the war the United States and other NATO countries have declared on our country. A decision that will have a huge resonance in the world in general and in the United States in particular. The reasoning of the American establishment so far has been this: we will shit all over you, we will supply huge volumes of weapons to the Kiev regime, we will work to defeat Russia, we will limit and destroy you, but strategic security is a separate issue. It is not related to the overall context of the U.S.-Russia relationship. It is almost a sacred cow.

This conclusion is worse than a crime-it’s a grave mistake by Americans. A mistake born of their mania grandiosa. Their sense of superiority and impunity. After all, it is obvious to all reasonable forces that if the U.S. wants to defeat Russia, then we are on the brink of a world conflict. If the U.S. wants to defeat Russia, we have the right to defend ourselves with any weapon, including nuclear weapons. As Putin rightly said: “It is impossible to defeat Russia on the battlefield. This is precisely why we have suspended (for now) START III. Let the elites in the U.S., who have lost touch with reality, think about what they have achieved. Let us also watch the reactions of the other NATO nuclear powers: France and Britain. Their Strategic nuclear forces were not usually included in the balance of nuclear warheads and carriers in the preparation of agreements between the US and the USSR (Russia), and it is high time to do so.

2. Biden addressed the Russian people in front of a crowd of Poles. In fact, he preached a sermon in the traditional American messianic vein, adjusted by senile marasmus. He piled on high words about how important it was to defend democracy, and that the U.S. had no intention of attacking Russia. It looked dishonest and ridiculous. Who is this strange grandfather, anyway, speaking with a bewildered look from Poland? Why is he appealing to the people of another country at a time when they are full of domestic problems? Why the hell should we listen to a politician from a hostile country that exudes hatred for our homeland? Why should Russian citizens believe the leader of the United States, which has unleashed the most wars in the 20th and 21st centuries, but blames us for our aggressiveness? A person who devotes all his weakening intellectual capabilities only to ensuring that Russia suffers a “strategic defeat.”

One more thing. To paraphrase a famous expression, Biden said in Warsaw: “If Russia stops its invasion, it ends right now. If the Ukrainians stop defending themselves, it will be the end of Ukraine. This is a refined lie. The truth is quite different.

Hungary’s Orban Snubs Biden, Skips Big Meeting of Leaders of NATO’s Eastern Flank

For almost a year now, the Hungarian prime minister has stood alone among NATO and European Union leaders in opposing the West’s proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, declaring Budapest’s neutrality and refusing to allow the transfer of weapons to Kiev via Hungarian territory.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban skipped a meeting with President Joe Biden and the leaders of NATO’s eastern flank on Wednesday, leaving Hungary’s ceremonial president, Katalin Novak, to attend in his place.
In a press conference the same day, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto reiterated Budapest’s desire to see fighting stop and peace talks begin. “Having seen and listened to the speeches by the presidents of the US and Russia yesterday, I think they would have made humanity a much bigger service by talking to each other,” Szijjarto said (https://www.atv.hu/belfold/20230222/hatalmas-nagy-baj-lehet-szijjarto-szerint-putyinnak-es-bidennek-egymassal-kellett-volna-beszelni).

Szijjarto stressed that “every single day” the crisis continues, “people die, families are torn apart, families have to flee,” and the world risks entering the “25th hour” of a possible nuclear crisis. “Don’t make the situation worse, the war must end,” he said.

If Moldova asks Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take Transnistria in 3 days, – Arestovich.

If Ukraine attack by themselves then they would need to outnumber the 2,000 Russian peacekeepers already there, which will now likely and quietly increase, plus the active 6,000 standing Transnistria army and the active reserves of 20,000 which would rapidly be mobilised.
Ukraine would need to attack with a 10-20,000 fighting force at the very least, and they may even take Transnistria, but it won’t be in 3 days and they’d suffer severe losses as a result.

According to available information, in the near future the Kiev regime is preparing an armed provocation against the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which will be carried out by units of the armed forces of Ukraine, with the involvement of the nationalist formation “Azov”.

As a pretext for the invasion, it is planned to stage an alleged offensive of Russian troops from the territory of Transnistria.

To do this, the Ukrainian saboteurs participating in the staged invasion will be dressed in the uniform of the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Wagner PMC units occupied the entire line of five-storey buildings along Vatutina Alley and also entered Shchedraya Street, taking control of two blocks of private development.

Chronicles of the Special Military Operation for February 22, 2023

🔻Border territories of the Russian Federation:

▪️Ukrainian formations shelled the border villages of Guevo and Gornal, as well as the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region. There were no casualties, but the sugar factory was damaged by the blow.

▪️The AFU inflicted massive strikes on the border settlements of Shebekino and Pervoe Tseplyaevo in the Belgorod region.  Private households and a shopping center were damaged, three civilians were injured.

🔻Kharkiv region:

▪️In the afternoon, Russian troops carried out a strike on the Kharkiv Aviation Plant, on the territory of which the production and maintenance of UAVs of the Armed Forces is carried out.

🔻Starobilsk direction:

▪️At the Liman sector, the situation has not undergone significant changes. The Russian DRG are searching for targets to defeat artillery and armored vehicles in the rear of the AFU.

 • In the Soledar sector, consolidated Russian units knocked the enemy out of the fortified area on the approach to Vesele. Ukrainian troops are trying to slow down the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, using unmanned aircraft and DRG.

 • North-west of Bakhmut, Wagner PMC fighters gained a foothold in the center of the village of Berkhivka, expanding the control zone.
➖Russian units are fighting heavy battles in Yahidne: the enemy is not going to give up the settlement without a fight and is transferring reserves to hold the front.

▪️In Bakhmut, “Wagnerians” in the area of the Meat Processing Plant advanced along Zarechnaya Street, knocking out the enemy from their occupied positions. The Ukrainian command is pulling reserves into reserve positions in order to slow down the advance of assault units.

➖ In #Artyomovsk, our forces have occupied the residential area along Vatutina Street, also the “orchestrators” have entrenched themselves in the area of the meat processing plant.
➖ Southwest of the city, ours regained positions near the road to #Konstantinovka, approaching the southeastern edge of #Krasnoye.

🔹#Donetsk Direction:
