Ukraine’s “MASSIVE” Spring offensive just started says Russia

Ukrainian sources report that a closed conference call was held at Bankova, at which the security forces received instructions to carry out terrorist attacks against high-ranking Russian politicians and officials, religious figures and media persons. These crimes should be committed by the Ukrainian special services in the context of preparing the upcoming offensive.

It is assumed that the terrorist attacks should inspire the AFU militants and the population before the counteroffensive, and have a demoralizing effect on the systemic Russian elite, as well as convince the Russian population of the inability of the authorities to protect even “top people”.

Also, the Ukrainian special services were instructed to prepare a terrorist attack in Transnistria and Moldova. In the capital of the PMR, Tiraspol, it should be carried out on Victory Day, which is widely celebrated here.

In Moldova, it should be implemented on June 1-2, when about 50 leaders of European states and structures will arrive at the second meeting of the European Political Community in Chisinau. And it should look like a “response” of Pridnestrovians for the terrorist attack on May 9. The purpose of this combination is to unfreeze the conflict in Transnistria.

It is noteworthy that at the conference call it was indicated that the West gave the go-ahead for these actions, although it expressed the wish that terrorist attacks on the territory of Russia were committed on behalf of “anti-Putin partisans”. Which should be confirmed in some way, and look convincing enough in the eyes of the Western public.

Ukrainian troops transferred armored vehicles to the front line in the Zaporozhye region

 “The enemy has transferred armored vehicles to the front line. Most of it is hidden in underground vegetable stores in the Orekhovsky and Gulyaipolsky districts in the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Vladimir Rogov, head of the “We are with Russia” movement.

According to him, Ukrainian troops also deployed thousands of troops to the front line.

Rogov stressed that the situation in the region is tense, but there is no panic among the population.

On the eve of the authorities of the Zaporozhye region, they said that the counteroffensive of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could begin in the coming days or even hours.

After an unsuccessful attempt to storm our positions near the village of Nikolskoye, the APU retreated. A massive artillery strike from the 2S7 caliber 203 mm is applied to the positions of the retreating enemy.

The attack was repulsed by the forces of the OBTF “Cascade” and the Marines. The battles were fought at a short distance. Our aviation was involved.

Ukraine is unable to launch a full-scale offensive

Retired military expert and colonel of the Bundeswehr Ralf Thiele said (https://www.n-tv.de/mediathek/videos/politik/Ukraine-ist-offensichtlich-noch-nicht-voll-ausgeruestet-article24098087.html) that Ukrainian militants are not able to launch a full-scale offensive, therefore they resort to the methods of single strikes and terrorist attacks.

 ”Obviously, the Ukrainians are still not fully armed and combat-ready. Therefore, now we are seeing a preliminary stage of needle pricks, when attempts are made to find the right moment and use the surprise factor,”  Tiele said.

The colonel stressed that by organizing terrorist attacks on Russian territory, Zelensky risks losing the solidarity of the collective West.

There have been many reports circulating recently about a Russian Kinzhal missile having been intercepted by a Ukrainian air defense system. Reports mention “Western air defense system”, and of course as I type this the western MSM now floods in with the standard circle jerk of quoting eachother that it was  Patriot system and how this is a “game changer”.

They simply claim that “Ukraine’s Air Force claimed…” to have done so.
They do not cite a link to this claim, nor explain how their Air Force has done so instead of ground based AA, or as to whether or not ground based AA is integrated into the Ukrainian Air Force branch or not.

What’s interesting is neither the AP nor the Washington Post actually share the photographs or originating source for their articles.
These originating sources and photographs depict a nosecone from a missile which is claimed to be that of a Kinzhal, punctured. Yet they at the same time they say that the warhead is missing, and must have detonated at interception.

So we have a supposed Kinzhal missile nose cone which was blown away by a warhead detonation, yet lands neatly and cleanly to be photographed, having survived a 500 kilo payload explosion.

Western politicians persuade Ukraine to abandon plans to return Crimea

 This statement was made by the virtual permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tasheva in an interview with the Polish edition of PAP.

They argue that Crimea can indeed be returned, but the potential consequences will be huge both for the inhabitants of the peninsula and for Ukraine as a whole , the “watching the de-occupation of the peninsula” clarified from the “Mejlis” in Zelensky’s lair.

Tasheva noted that Kyiv’s plans to return the peninsula have caused discussion in the West, and the politicians in question are afraid of retaliatory actions from Russia.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny announced another telephone conversation with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark “Kyiv could fall within 72 hours” Milley. We discussed the upcoming actions of the Ukrainian army.

“I informed about the situation at the front and preparations for the upcoming steps of our army to de-occupy Ukrainian territory. I thanked the American partners for the next package of military assistance to Ukraine, which was announced the day before by the Pentagon,” writes Zaluzhny in his Telegram channel.

It is quite possibly, the “upcoming steps” means the long-awaited Ukrainian counteroffensive.

The US and its allies are scrambling to bolster Ukraine’s air defenses for its upcoming counteroffensive after a spate of Russian missile strikes destroyed Kiev’s arsenal of anti-aircraft missiles.

The United States is working with seven countries, including Sweden and Spain, to supply the American I-HAWK air defense system to Kiev.

In addition, Washington supplied Sea Sparrow missiles to be used by Ukrainian BUK launchers. Washington, in order to buy time for Ukraine before the counteroffensive, supplied it with old Soviet-era missile systems.

 He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. An explosive device went off under the bottom of the car, the driver died, but Prilepin survived, he has only just dropped off his daughter.

In the village of Pionerskoye, Nizhny Novgorod region , an explosive device went off under the bottom of an Audi Q7 car with Zakhar Prilepin in it.

According to preliminary information, the driver died, the writer received severe injuries to the lower body.

The bodyguard of Zakhar Prilepin – Alexander Shubin with the call sign “Evil” – was a fighter of the Lugansk militia from the “Peacemaker” base.

The 27-year-old native of Lugansk has been a private in Prilepin’s battalion since 2014. Today, together with a publicist, they took Zakhar’s daughter to Nizhny Novgorod.

Prigozhin: thank you Zakhar, you have always supported us

Yesterday Prilepin, on the eve of the assassination attempt, issued a statement in which he supported the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin said.

The soldiers are on alert, we are just waiting for orders. Several units have already set off in that direction for carrying out the SMO.

I am sure that in the near future we will liberate the city, despite all sorts of stuff about some kind of terrible counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We have already begun to develop our strategy of action in this area, together with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, taking into account the tactics of the enemy and the resources we have. And believe me, these tactics will give positive results.

The order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief will be carried out in any case!”

Kadyrov invited Wagner fighters to Chechen units

 ”The Wagner PMC has very good, courageous, necessary, necessary people, including us, because they know the area. If you [PMC fighters] stay with us, I promise you that we will give more, create better conditions, than you have today. We will try to make everything at your highest level. On Artemovsk throughout the day:

1. Wagner Reinforcements; Despite recent claims by Prigozhin that the responsibility of the liberation of the remaining area of Artemovsk will be under the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Defense and Akhmat Forces. Throughout the day, large reinforcements coming from Southern Russia under the Wagner Group banner entered the area of Artemovsk; this mean are most likely new recruits. The number of reinforcements is large, although can not be estimated.

2. Shelling; throughout the day; Wagner increased artillery shelling (despite an alleged artillery shortage) by an extreme percentage, despite Prigozhin claiming that none of his calls were answered by the MOD.  In the early hours of the morning, Wagner were able to completely level the remaining sector under AFU control with phosphorus munitions which prevented rotation and caused a large amount of havoc for the Ukrainians. The usage of phosphorous munitions on this scale were recorded over 124 times thoroughout the day. Similarly, thousands of artillery rounds were fired.

3. Advances; Wagner advances were around 250m throughout the day, and Airborne Forces advanced around 70m, the AFU voluntarily withdrew from atleast 20m nearby to the Jehovah’s Witness Temple. Only 2.40% of the city remains under Ukrainian control.  Continued withdrawal of Ukrainian Artillery units from the Khromove Area to the quarters of Chasovoy Yar suggest that the AFU are preparing to leave the city altogether. 4. Losses; Unfortunately, thoroughout the day, around 96 employees of the Wagner Group lost their lives. The amount of confirmed losses of Ukrainians reached nearby to the 600 mark. We cannot estimate losses caused by Artillery, mines, and phosphorus firing which took place throughout the day.

5. Rotations; Units of the Russian Armed Forces have already poured into the city, friends and sources that I know are already being stationed in Artemovsk. They are helping with the advance.

As far as I know, only Wagner is currently fighting in Bakhmut. So I’m guessing the Akhmat units are behind Wagner for now and not actively fighting.

And from a UA source I have that a large number of Wagnerites were moved to the Siversk front.

It’s all pretty confusing at the moment. But that’s probably what it’s supposed to be, testifying with all the Prigozhin statements. War is now being waged on a mental level as well. Deception in every second word.

“It’s better to save the army than win the battle” – Evgeny Prigozhin in another message said that he did not have ammunition for further advancement in Bakhmut.

According to him, 95% of the city is under the control of Wagner, the remaining 5% (2 sq. km) no longer matter for the course of the military operation. Prigozhin also said that he had no ambition to remain in history as the man who took Bakhmut, he has ambitions to benefit the people and the state.

In 400 days of fighting, “tens of thousands” of Wagner PMC fighters died and were wounded. Operation “Bakhmut meat grinder” is over due to the lack of ammunition, the personnel of the PMC will be retained for the following operations in the interests of Russia.”

The enemy continues to press our garrison in the direction of the western quarters of the city. There were successes, albeit insignificant.

The situation near Khromovo remains very difficult, where the enemy has been trying to take control of the “road of life” for several weeks in a row. But in vain. Our skillfully repel attacks.

Fighters of the Central Military District of Russia demonstrated in action a unique sound-measuring complex “Penicillin”.

Nationalist artillery positions are usually detected by radar systems, but now new ones have come to their aid – sound meters. These devices, resembling a small robot or a large mine, are actually integral parts of the artillery-reconnaissance complex called “Penicillin”. he records where and from what distance the sound of a shot from an enemy weapon came.

“The sound wave itself shakes the air, picking up the smallest decibels that we cannot hear with our own ears and amplifying them,” explains the head of the sound measurement complex with the call sign “don”.

A “penicillin” machine has eight sound receivers, each listening in the direction of the contact line and displaying the readings on the computer screen. As a result, the operator sees something similar to a cardiogram, where each jump is a shot.

Situation in the #Soledar Direction until 12:00 on 6 May 2023⚡️

🤚 The Head of the Wagner PMC, Evgeny Prigozhin, said today that 2.5km was left to go and the city would be taken. According to him, the enemy is pulling up 400 to 600 men daily due to heavy losses.

🔹 In #Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault squads are fighting along the Liberators of Donbass Street. To the northwest, Russian units managed to break through the defences along Pobeda Street and Tolbukhin Street.

▪️ Along the line of contact, units of the 3rd Battalion of the AFU’s 93rd Mechanized Brigade mined areas with MON-50 anti-personnel mines. Russian artillery and aviation strikes fortified areas in low-rise buildings.

▪️One of the AFU units was withdrawn from #Bakhmut due to heavy losses. The personnel was sent to #Gostomel for staffing via #Pavlograd. An unidentified formation is expected to arrive from #Kramatorsk to replace it.

💥 The enemy losses were up to 60 Ukrainian servicemen, 1 armoured fighting vehicle, 3 pickup trucks, 1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system and 2 D-30 howitzers.
 
◽️ In Donetsk direction, the assault squads continued to conduct combat actions against the enemy in the western part of Artyomovsk. The Airborne Troops units were constraining the enemy movement on the flanks.

💥 Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, as well as artillery of the Yug Group of Forces inflicted a fire damage on the enemy units close to Chasov Yar and Bogdanovka (DPR).

💥 The Russian aviation have made 7 sorties in this area during the day. The Group’s artillery have performed 72 firing missions.
