ORGAN HARVESTING in UKRAINE’S COMBAT ZONES. She has called for immediate international attention
and monitoring to combat this illegal activity, which she claims is a A PROFITABLE BUSINESS run by those with
HIGH-LEVEL GOVERNMENT SPONSORSHIP.
The HISTORY of Organ Harvesting in Ukraine: Zakharova emphasizes that ORGAN HARVESTING in UKRAINE
is NOT a NEW PHENOMENON. Reports of LOW-INCOME UKRAINIANS being FORCED to SELL their ORGANS
..and…ILLEGAL HARVESTING of BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS from CORPSES….DATE back TO the late 1990s,
long BEFORE the 2014 COUP D’ETAT and subsequent events.
The CONFLICT in the eastern part of the country has further EXACERBATED the SITUATION.
