Our source in the OP said that Zaluzhny at headquarters opposed Zelensky’s idea to liberate three cities by the end of the year, which he announced in the United States. The failure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed that NATO is not ready to fight Russia

It is not only the Ukrainians who are to blame for the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counter-offensive, writes Business Insider. And if at first we were talking only about the “Volunteer Assault Corps” , supervised by Evkurov and Troshev, today three assault detachments are flying from Africa to the Northern Military District zone – from among the main “Wagners”.

The Council of PMC Commanders and Lotus reached an agreement in principle with the leadership of the Russian Guard : before the New Year, not only individual , but also group agreements should be signed with the Company’s soldiers. And the group status should be rated higher than the individual one. This serves as a guarantee that PMCs will not be torn apart. Flags and self-names allow you to save.

The financial conditions in both the DShK and the Russian Guard are +/- the same. Only by choosing between Troshev and the usual commanders does most of the Company remain in the old ranks.

It is still unclear where exactly the PMCs will be transferred (the DShK is located near Bakhmut, we have already written, but it is unlikely that they will be there either). But it is already clear that this has set the stage for the autumn-winter campaign of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.

Ukrainian formations continue shelling regions of the Russian Federation. Compared to last week, the number of attacks on rear areas has decreased, but the number of attacks on border areas has increased. This is due to the activation and attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Bryansk and Belgorod regions , as well as the concentration of enemy forces in the Sumy and Chernigov regions.

 ▪️The Belgorod region took the greatest blow: in a week, at least 800 shells were recorded in the region, which injured at least five Russian citizens. Civilian infrastructure was damaged in at least 30 localities.

▪️The Armed Forces of Ukraine began to more actively attack energy facilities in the border region: an electrical substation in Pogar , Bryansk region, and a similar facility in the village of Snagost in the Kursk region came under attack.

In both regions, the enemy also regularly tried to attack regional centers: air defense systems intercepted drones over the Bryansk diesel plant and the very center of Kursk .

▪️The number of officially recorded shelling of the DPR has decreased slightly, but this may be a consequence of a long-overdue decision by local authorities to limit the dissemination of information. And even so, we counted just under 500 shells fired at the Donetsk agglomeration .

▪️Several attempts were made again to launch combined strikes on Crimea : Russian air defense systems intercepted British Storm Shadow missiles and Ukrainian Armed Forces drones over the peninsula several times during the week.

▪️At the same time, the left bank of the Kherson region is under constant fire: in parallel with artillery terror, the enemy is actively transferring forces to the contact line, preparing for an operation to force the Dnieper .

Vremevsky section : battles for forest plantations and advancement of the Russian Armed Forces
situation as of 20.00 October 2, 2023

 After the withdrawal of the marine brigades to the Kherson direction, the main lines in the Vremevsky sector were occupied by units of the 58th motorized infantry brigade, together with the 128th TRO and 1st brigade of the President of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🔻According to Voin DV , to the west of Staromayorsky , assault groups of the 128th trooper military unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of mortar crews, attacked the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in landings, hoping to occupy tactically advantageous positions.

However, the Russian Armed Forces repelled the attack and launched a counterattack under the cover of artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems. As a result of a successful assault, Russian fighters drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the Grusheva gully .

🔻Intensification of fighting was also noted at the Urozhaynoye-Novodonetskoye line, where assault troops of the Russian army were able to clear forest belts east of Urozhaynoye and advance to a depth of 200 meters .

At the moment, Ukrainian formations are regrouping and preparing for an attack. Russian artillerymen are conducting massive shelling of the enemy’s forward line.

In the near future, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will most likely try to recapture the lost strongholds, but the concentration of forces in this area has decreased. This at least suggests that the South Donetsk direction is not a priority for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Four months into the Ukrainian Counteroffensive

This is how the trenches near Verbovo look like. Wave after wave of young men were used to storm Russian positions, after the AFU stopped using armored vehicles, in what the Russian Forces called “meat assaults”.

PR victories and preservation of what was left of NATO supplied equipement were more important than the lives of these men.

P.S. – Rumors that the Russian Forces are taking back ground near Rabotino. But for now these are just that…rumors.

The enemy is trying to  advance at Kleshcheevka and Andreevka, trying to break through the defense line near the railway

➨ Fierce fighting on the southern flank of Artyomovsk continues.

➨ Near Andreevka and Kurdyumovka these days the enemy is conducting a creeping offensive, constantly sending small groups to attack in the forest belts along the railway.

“They are climbing like cockroaches, trying to climb onto the piece of iron and gain a foothold there, we are covering them,” our soldiers report from the spot.

“Northeast of Kleshcheevka, northeast and east of Andreevka, and north of Zelenopolye, fighting near the railway continues with varying success,” says a recent report by Ukrainian military analysts.

“Russian troops are additionally transferring artillery to contain the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the enemy’s report also states.

Having earlier retreated from Kleshcheevka and the completely destroyed Andreevka, our troops covered the enemy with artillery, aviation, and kamikaze drones.

The fighting subsides, then flares up again, the enemy is trying to advance.

Next boiler is in the northern sector – after RF has damaged or even taken out probably all bridges over the Oskol river – the bombing campaign intensified there as well – the goal there is probably not a “fast move” but drying out AFU in that bulge and force them to retreat south.
But it could also be that RF prepares to cut them off completely – so – Kupyansk City is for now not the main target here.

Fighting in the Krasny Liman direction:

▪️ Group O is preventing the enemy from advancing in the forests near Kremenna.
▪️ At the Torskiy protrusion, our artillery units have been providing cover for Ukrainian positions. Tanks are occasionally deployed to target and strike.
▪️ The main events occurred in the Serebryansky Forestry, where the enemy is attempting to regain lost territory. Ukrainian militants made several attempts to attack our units, including the 67th brigade and the 5th brigade of the National Guard. Our troops responded forcefully, resulting in casualties among the enemy, who eventually retreated. Artillery is actively engaged.

▫️ The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

▫️ In Donetsk direction (https://t.me/mod_russia/31068), the Yug Group of Forces, supported by aviation and artillery, repelled three attacks by assault groups of AFU 110th mechanised, 59th mechanised infantry, 5th assault brigades close to Krasnogorovka, Nevelskoye, Andreevka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️ The enemy losses were up to 180 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, two armoured fighting vehicles, three motor vehicles, as well as two Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems.

▫️ In Krasny Liman direction (https://t.me/mod_russia/31071), the Tsentr Group of Forces’ units, aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrower systems repelled two attacks of assault groups of the AFU 67th Mechanised Brigade and the 5th National Guard Brigade close to Chervonaya Dibrova and Belogorovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️ The enemy losses have amounted to over 60 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded and two pickup trucks.

▫️ In the course of the counter-battery warfare, one Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system and one D-20 howitzer, and one D-30 howitzer were hit.

▫️ In Kupyansk direction (https://t.me/mod_russia/31070), the Zapad Group of Forces’ units, supported by artillery, aviation, and heavy flamethrower systems inflicted fire damage manpower and hardware of AFU 44th, 66th mechanised, 25th airborne brigades, as well as the 107th Territorial Defence Brigade near Borovaya (Kharkov region), Novoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), Novoselkovskoye and Makeevka (Lugansk People’s Republic).

▫️ The enemy losses were more than 65 Ukrainian servicemen, two motor vehicles, one Paladin howitzer, and one U.S.-made M777 artillery system.

▫️ In Zaporozhye direction (https://t.me/mod_russia/31069), the Russian Group of Forces’ units, supported by Ground-Attack Aviation and helicopters hit manpower and hardware of AFU 47th, 65th, 117th, 118th mechanised brigades near Rabotino, Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanilovka, Verbovoye (Zaporozhye region).

▫️ Up to 35 Ukrainian servicemen, two armoured fighting vehicles, including Bradley IFV, and three motor vehicles were eliminated.

▫️ In the course of the counter-battery warfare, one Gvozdika self-popelled artillery system, one M-46 gun, one D-30 howitzer, as well as one AN/TPQ-48 counterbattery warfare radar  were eliminated.

▫️ In South Donetsk direction (https://t.me/mod_russia/31072), the Vostok Group of Forces repelled one attack of the AFU 128th Territorial Defence Brigade’s assault groups close to Priyutnoye (Zaporozhye region).

▫️ Ground-Attack Aviation and artillery launched attacks at manpower and hardware of AFU 72nd mechanised and 79th air assault brigades close to Konstantinovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

▫️ Up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two pickup trucks, one U.S.-made M777 artillery system, as well as one D-20 howitzer were eliminated.

▫️ In Kherson direction (https://t.me/mod_russia/31069) during the day, up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen and two motor vehicles were destroyed as a result of fire defeat.

▫️ Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Group of Forces have engaged AFU manpower and hardware in 107 areas during the day.

▫️In addition, one Anklav anti-UAV electronic warfare station was destroyed close to Preobrazhenka (Zaporozhye region). A communication centre of the 66th Mechanised Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been destroyed close to Petrovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic) .

▫️ Fuel depots and hangars of aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force have been destroyed at the Dolgintsevo airfield (Dnepropetrovsk region).

◽️ Air defence forces, electronic warfare systems, and small-arms fire shot down two HIMARS MLRS missiles and two operational-tactical missiles.

◽️Moreover, 45 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down near Ploshchanka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Peski, Betmanovo (Donetsk People’s Republic), Verbovoye, Chervonogorka, Pshenichnoye (Zaporozhye region), and Tokarevka (Kharkov region).

Chronicle of a special military operation for October 2, 2023

 The main events took place in the Vremevsky sector , where Russian troops expanded the zone of control towards the Grusheva gully , repelling the Ukrainian attack. To the east of Urozhaynoye, units of the Russian Armed Forces also managed to move forward at the Urozhaynoye – Novodonetskoye line.

Positional clashes continue on the territory of Serebryansky forestry in the Starobelsky direction and in the Kleshcheevka area in the Soledarsky sector .

Despite a slight decrease in the intensity of shelling of the Russian border area, Ukrainian formations today launched attacks on populated areas of the Kursk , Belgorod , Kherson , Zaporozhye regions and the DPR . There are casualties among the population, and damage to infrastructure is also reported.

 ⚡️At night, the eastern part of 404 was subjected to “geranization” sessions. At the Dolgintsevo airfield near Krivoy Rog, fuel warehouses and aviation weapons were destroyed . In the Kharkov region, Russian missiles were fired at military targets. It is also known that the infrastructure in Kherson was damaged.

⚫️Svatovo-Kremennoe direction

 Russian aviation is actively operating in the Kupyansky sector, and on the ground ours have advanced in the Kislovka area. Enemy attacks at Torskoye were also repulsed.

⚫️Donetsk direction

 The Russian army unexpectedly attacked militant positions in the direction of Yuryevka in the New York area. In the Avdeevsky sector, ours are advancing near Stepnoye , and also stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces south of Avdeevka . In Marinka there is no change – fighting on the western outskirts.

⚫️ Zaporozhye direction

 The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attack Novoprokopovka , ours are holding the line. Meanwhile, Russian fighters counterattacked at Verbovoy . On the Vremevsky ledge, ours attacked from Priyutnoye , and also cleared forest belts east of Urozhaynoye.
