Are the “Digital Equity” Rules Leading to a 15-Minute City Near You?

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

In my last article, I wrote about what I believe are the “real” reasons for the proposed FCC rules regarding the “Digital Equity” from the Biden Administration. In brief, I said #1 Control, #2 Muzzling Freedom of Speech—while I spoke a lot about the free speech piece of this, I failed to go into depth on the control reason.

I want to go more into depth about what I meant.

Remember I said they want control of everyone, everywhere, and everything at all times. To do this they need a surveillance state—and it is my belief that this is the primary reason for these new proposed FCC rules that are being set up to supposedly curtail “digital discrimination” on the Internet.

I believe the true reason is for the Federal Government to gain power through the FCC to set up the surveillance state infrastructure. This is why they want control over everything from the setup of the Internet/Broadband infrastructure through the customer experience end of the business— giving them the ability to surveille and monitor everyone—think of “15-Minute Cities.”

The second reason I already explained in my first article—control of free speech, from what the press says, (the individual podcaster or major broadcaster), to what the average Joe wants to make known on a YouTube channel about his disenchantment with the government, current or potential.

In my opinion, these rules are left “wide open” and could potentially stop all free speech in its tracks. This happened in Thomas Jefferson’s day, regarding speech that was critical of President John Adams.

According to an article on, “The Alien and Sedition Acts were a series of four laws passed by the U.S. Congress in 1798 during the administration of President John Adams amid widespread fear that a foreign war against France was imminent. The laws—which remain controversial to this day—restricted the activities of foreign residents in the country and limited freedom of speech and of the press, particularly when it was critical of the president or the government. Most, but not all, of the laws have expired or been repealed over the years.

… between 1798 and 1801, U.S. federal courts prosecuted at least 26 individuals under the Sedition Act; many were editors of Democratic-Republican newspapers, and all opposed the Adams administration. The prosecutions fueled furious debate over the meaning of a free press and the rights that should be afforded to opposition political parties in the United States.”

Is “Republic Review” a Solution to Keep Free Speech and a Free Society?

While doing research for an interview with G.R. Mobley, founder of Reclaiming the Republic, he discussed a safeguard regarding the people’s ability to audit the federal government on their infractions against the constitution—this allows the States/people to call out the federal government when it goes into overreach mode.

Writer and editor, Trevor Louden listed “Republic Review” as a remedy to keep the government overreach in check. Regarding the Constitution, he stated: Under the Constitution, the states are technically superior to the federal government. They’re sovereign under the “equal footing” doctrine and have the legal power to refuse to engage in unconstitutional programs.

The Republic Review process could help keep free speech “free”, as it essentially gives the States the ability to audit the contractual obligations on the part of the general (Federal) government relative to the Constitution—it allows the States to exercise their authority to validate and demand compliance to the Constitution by the general government—to keep their end of the contract. In other words, to make the Federal Government stay in its own lane!

The Republic Review subject led me to the Alien and Sedition Acts, which seems to dovetail right into the newly proposed FCC rules that will be coming from the Biden Administration to the FCC, and trickle down to the Broadband & Internet industries, and ultimately to broadcasters, podcasters, etc.—anyone that wants free speech in a free society.  It could be the answer to preserve our freedoms.

Destroy and then rebuild Gaza into a 15 minute prison. You know their thinking it.

Gordon, you are most likely correct on this. It will be interesting to see where these first cities will be located. Thanks for reading! Angeline
