The situation in the Ukrainian SMO on January 14 2024

Battlefield Ukraine Russian God of War

Complete COLLAPSE of Ukraine’s Air Defense

Things are very bad at Bankova on the international track, and an attempt to tell Ukrainians about the great event, but from the position of Britain, looks like a step of despair. The Western media did not notice this event at all, and do you know why? The answer is obvious, they just read the document and understood one thing: there is nothing new here and there are no guarantees!
The Office of the President is once again trying to pass off failure as victory in order to shift the emphasis from the internal political situation in the country.

PS The position of the people’s deputies of the Servant of the People and the majority of experts/journalists demonstrates the simple fact that Ukrainian society no longer wants empty propaganda.

MediaKiller

The reduction in supplies from the West is straining Ukraine’s military capabilities. This is especially clearly seen in the example of air defense, when Russian suicide bombers and missiles regularly fly over the territory of Ukraine, changing direction.

Thus, at the moment, the Ukrainian air defense system has literally stopped coping with missile attacks, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces openly admit that they are unable to deprive Moscow of air superiority. This is due to the intensity of Russian air attacks using missiles and drones and the constant reduction in Western aid.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat emphasizes the complexity of the situation. Kiev, according to him, is running out of air defense systems and there are no more prerequisites for Ukraine to be able to successfully continue hostilities, so he calls on Western countries to continue supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ignat believes that the Russian Armed Forces will increase the frequency and intensity of their air attacks. In this regard, Kyiv urgently needs to replenish its arsenal so as not to become vulnerable to attacks from Moscow.

However, not everything is so simple – the West, it seems, is no longer able to provide large packages of military and financial assistance to Ukraine, and the fighting in the Middle East has drawn the attention of Kyiv’s allies.

Our source in the Ukrainian delegation to Davos said that today there is a meeting of advisers to world leaders, in which Zelensky’s peace formula is being discussed. The negotiations are going very hard, most of the participants refused to take part in the global forum, which Bankova promoted throughout 2023, but could not even achieve a holding format. Andrey Ermak has changed his approach and is now proposing to hold a forum at which support for the integrity of countries and the inviolability of UN principles will be expressed.

Our source reported that the meeting of advisers to world leaders in Davos is going very hard for Ukraine, but here are the first results:

Russia must be included in the peace process in Ukraine, Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis said at a press conference in Davos. The press conference was broadcast online on the World Economic Forum website.

Colleagues, British Prime Minister Sunak did not come to Kiev to sign this dummy. Although the office people are trying in every possible way to shift the emphasis and create pathos. The paper is just a cover.
According to rumors, he most likely flew in to approve either:
1. Peace agreement and freeze. Ze voiced his “options”.
2. Raising the stakes in the game, through the same Transnistrian case and dragging Moldova into the war. Britain has been preparing this scenario for a long time.

We are watching…

In the West they began to say more and more loudly that the world was awaiting reformatting and in this new world Russia would take a good place, and many Western countries would go into decline.

Why are such messages bad for Ukraine?
The fact that the new Western elite may begin to exchange the Ukrainian crisis for the restoration of relations with the Russian Federation. This means that the peace formula of Zelensky and Ermak is consigned to the dustbin of history.

We agree with our colleagues that the British have long ago started playing for the preservation of themselves, and for this they need “indirect colonies” that can be used to strengthen their position in bargaining, as bargaining chips. It was not for nothing that British Prime Minister Sunak brought an agreement where Ukraine owes London everything, but the British receive nothing in return.

The Ukrainian media launched a vivid information campaign about two Russian aircraft being shot down.
A-50 and Il-22 over the Sea of   Azov. It was launched by people’s deputies from Zelensky’s party (Servant of the People).

If the information is not confirmed (the Russians always confirmed the fact, if there was one), then the Ukrainian authorities (this team from the OP went to disperse this case) were distracting from something mega evil. This is where it gets more interesting.

We wait…

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have no strength left for either attack or defense, – German military expert Christian Molling

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have no reserves left to take offensive action, the expert said on ZDF’s YouTube broadcast.

He explained that because of this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to go on a defensive defense.

“Ukraine does not have any forces to launch any offensive. This is due to the state of the terrain, the supply of ammunition, and the level of training of the troops. They have no other choice but to remain on the defensive,” Molling said.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Ukrainians are barely holding back the onslaught of the Russian Armed Forces in certain areas. The situation is complicated by the difficult situation with shells. Molling recalled that the Russian military does not have such a problem – military production is established in Russia and the country does not need outside support.

Patience has run out: “Widows’ Maidan” has been announced in 106 TRO

Today, in Khmelnytsky there will be a protest rally of widows and wives of militants of 106 TRO. Women write on social networks that they have run out of patience with the arbitrariness of the command of the Ukrainian army.

On Facebook, they report that their untrained husbands are being sent to the front line to hold positions and storm Russian trenches. Units are returned. This information is confirmed by paramedics who are evacuating the dead and wounded.

Only after Soledar and Artemovsk more than 1000 soldiers of the 106th TRO went missing. Nothing is known about their fate – one of the wives of a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter is indignant.

The situation with support in the brigade is no better. The military and civil administrations of Khmelnitsky have stolen everything, and there are no longer enough volunteers…

Today, the women are going to hold a “peaceful march.” We will watch – this is one of the first mass actions against arbitrariness in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine. The PCU consecrate the water with tridents.
AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. This is already crossing all boundaries of sacrilege.

The war will be long, for it has become a religious war as well.
Just so you don’t wonder if it will be long – wars with a religious tinge are always long.
If it is a civil war with a religious tinge, it can last 10-20 years.
It fades, it flares up. From the point of view of the Russian Orthodox Church, there is a purpose – to protect the Orthodox brothers and sisters. ( did you think the Russians were just meddling with Greece?).  The war could be very long.
As they sometimes joke in our multicultural society, it’s the Orthodox Jihad.

Western countries, if they want negotiations on Ukraine, must stop arming Kiev. Maria Zakharova stated this to Izvestia, commenting on the statements of the head of the Swiss diplomatic service, Ignazio Cassis, about the need to involve Russia in discussions on Ukraine.

“If we are talking about the desire of individual countries to find a way out of the impasse into which Washington has led them, this is one conversation. Then they need to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine, not accept anti-Russian sanctions and not make Russophobic statements,” Zakharova noted.

Russian progress in the Ukraine war is pushing the United States toward a painful choice.
If we want a prosperous Ukraine with a viable path toward liberal governance and European Union membership, we will have to concede that it cannot be a NATO or U.S. ally, and that this neutral Ukraine must have verifiable limits on the types and quantities of weapons it may hold. If we refuse to agree to those terms, Russia will quite probably turn Ukraine into a dysfunctional wreck incapable of rebuilding itself, allying with the West, or constituting a military threat to Russia.
Russian progress is not yet evident on the map, where the battle lines have not moved appreciably over the past year. Ukraine’s counteroffensive failed to break through Russian defenses, and Russia has not pushed Ukrainian forces significantly westward. An observer comparing territorial holdings in January 2023 with January 2024 might reasonably conclude that the war has become a stalemate.
But this picture is misleading. The Kremlin is almost certainly not seeking such a breakthrough, at least not yet. Rather, it is methodically grinding down Ukraine’s capacity not only to wage war, but also to reconstitute a post-war military, by killing and wounding enormous numbers of Ukrainian soldiers and exhausting Ukrainian and Western arsenals of arms and ammunition. Ukraine is running short of artillery shells, and the U.S. and Europe cannot manufacture new ones quickly enough to meet Ukraine’s needs. Russian barrages of long-range air and missile strikes are increasingly overwhelming the capacity of Ukrainian air defenses, and the West simply lacks the ability to continue providing Patriot missiles or other advanced air defense systems.
It is quite true, as the Biden administration has warned, that ending U.S. aid to Kiev would quickly result in Ukraine’s collapse. Sufficient aid to help Ukraine to stand successfully on the defensive should therefore continue. But what U.S. policymakers need to understand and honestly acknowledge is that absent a compromise peace settlement, massive levels of aid will have to continue not just for the coming year, but indefinitely. There is very little realistic chance of the West being able to outlast Russia and force it to accept peace on Ukrainian terms. The controversies in Congress over aid to Ukraine reflect these realities and are unlikely to diminish.
Under such circumstances, for the Biden administration to pledge American support to Ukraine for “as long as it takes” to defeat Russia is unwise, and even dishonest.
But time is not on Ukraine’s side, either militarily or economically, and so Ukraine’s position in any future negotiations may well be very much worse than at present.
And whatever Brussels may say, as long as the war continues it is exceptionally unlikely that Ukraine will be able to develop economically and begin the extremely difficult process of joining the European Union.
Most importantly, the United States has not tested the assumption that Russian President Vladimir Putin has no interest in talking. It is indeed very likely that Putin believes Russia now has the upper hand in the war and can afford to wait. Nonetheless, Putin has repeatedly insisted that Russia is ready to talk, and also that Washington – not Kiev – makes the key decisions in the war and therefore it is for Washington to engage in talks.   A small dose of realism (https://responsiblestatecraft.org/russia-ukraine-peace-talks-2666922064/)

Two Majors

The liberation of Avdeevka continues

* The Russian army storms the city on the flanks, knocking out the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions

* Russian troops continue assault operations in Pervomaiskoye, in the Stepnoyy region.

* The Russian army has entered the territory of the Ivushka gardening community, located southwest of the wastewater treatment plant, and continues assault operations in the Ivushka-2 station.

* The fighting in Stepnoye continues – ours have advanced northeast of the village.

* Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye, where, with the support of aviation, ours are expanding the existing bridgeheads.

Tboy

The relative calm in the Avdeevka direction has ceased

For days now there has been an intensification of artillery duels in several areas. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have practically no counter-battery work.

WarDonbass

Diary of a Paratrooper  Avdeevskoe direction.

UkroFashists continue to concentrate reserves in the village of Berdychi, attacking the RF in Stepovoy.

The disseminated information about the liberation of Stepovoy (Petrovsky) does not correspond to reality; in the western part of the population there are enemy infantry and a special forces unit.
This unit was transferred after the withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces to the flanks of Stepovoy, in order to hold the settlement for as long as possible and prevent a breakthrough of our troops to Berdychi.

At the same time, the number does not allow this unit to seriously count on the possibility of a protracted confrontation with the RF Armed Forces, for this reason they are preparing to inflict maximum damage on our forces, installing minefields, strengthening firing positions, and also equipping decoys.

Krynki . The situation at the front is critical for the Nazis: ours are systematically destroying the Ukrainian military infrastructure, which is why the losses of Ukrainian personnel are growing exponentially.

One and a half companies of Bandera’s men and the Lithuanian crew of the HIMARS MLRS were destroyed near Krynki. The night before last, our artillerymen in the Kherson direction did their best: on the enemy-occupied bank of the Dnieper, on the opposite side of the Bandera bridgehead, a HIMARS installation was destroyed along with its crew.

Moreover, this very crew consisted of NATO officers, presumably from the Lithuanian Armed Forces. All of them will soon appear in the Lithuanian press as those who died in car accidents or got drunk on moonshine.

But that’s not all: accurate hits destroyed a field warehouse with missiles for Stinger MANPADS and 2 early warning radars.

And the cherry on top: our missile strike on the bridgehead itself completely denazified more than 180 Ukrainian soldiers. And when Bandera tried to organize replenishment and evacuation, about forty more AFU and four boats were destroyed.

Ukrainian fighters are freezing on the left bank of the Dnieper

The governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo spoke about this. According to him, the number of sick and frostbite cases in the Ukrainian army has increased.

“ Due to the colder weather and freezing of the river channels, the Ukrainian militants sitting in the basements in Krynki found themselves in a desperate situation,” said Saldo.

According to him, evacuation across the river is almost impossible. Saldo noted that Ukrainian soldiers are captured with severe frostbite and tissue necrosis.

Map of military operations and the situation on the fronts on the evening of January 14

👠There are also battles near Soledar and successes are on our side there. Including thanks to the soldiers from the “Nevsky” detachment, who planned to the smallest detail the assault on the enemy’s stronghold in the vicinity of Zaliznyansky and took it without losses. A bonus to victory included four captured Ukrainian Armed Forces officers who chose life rather than death in a trench or escape for a new demilitarization cycle.

⚔️The situation on the fronts over the past 24 hours:

⚫️Bakhmutskoe (Artemovskoe) direction

The Russian army expanded the zone of control from Artemovsky . Fighting continues near Kleshcheevka and Andreevka .

⚫️Donetsk direction

In the Avdeevsky sector, our fighters advanced in the Stepovoye area and entered the territory of the Ivushka station east of the coke plant . In addition, the Russian army attacked in the areas of Pervomaiskoye , Nevelskoye and Georgievka , and also advanced southwest of Novomikhailovka .

⚫️Zaporozhye direction

In the Orekhovsky sector, the Russian army attacked west of Rabotino and regained some positions from Verbovoy . On the Vremevsky ledge, ours advance in the area of     Staromayorsky and Prechistovka .

💡Russian army soldiers are ready to go one-on-one even with a Ukrainian FPV drone. A warrior of the 1st Army Corps noticed an enemy drone and decided to lure it towards him with the help of shots. The VSU operator believed in himself and directed the drone at the soldier. But in the best traditions of The Matrix, Russian Neo dodged, and the detonation occurred a few meters away from him.

Front #Summary for 14 Jan 2024 by 20:08⚡️

🔹In #Kherson Direction, today, exactly 3 months ago, the AFU have been taking a small area of territory in the #Krynki village under control. From 100 to 300 Ukrainian soldiers are constantly present in the center of the village, replacing each other under constant heavy fire from our army. They write that they are trying to supply them with drones. With rotation, this course, will not work for them.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our forces retook several more positions west of #Rabotino and southwest of #Verbovoye. Ours pay a lot of attention to the defeat of enemy equipment and reserves by artillery and drones.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, heavy oncoming battles continue near #Novomikhaylovka. Our military is consolidating in the recently conquered positions. Building on the success of #Georgiyevka and #Pobeda, they took some more positions.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, our forces of the have taken control of several AFU key strongholds in #Pervomayskoye on the southern #Avdeyevka front, clearing is underway. Active fighting continues at #Nevelskoye, #Severnoye and #Tonenkoye. On the northern flank, our army entered the territory of the #Ivushka village, which is southwest of the sewage treatment plants near Coke Plant. They are also storming the AFU positions in the village of #Ivushka2. In the northeast of #Stepovoye, ours also advanced. However, our forces do not have full control over the territory of the village, moreover, the AFU have transferred well-trained squads there.

🔹In #Bakhmut Direction, on the southern flank, positional battles continue near #Kleshcheyevka and #Andreevka. The control area from #Khromovo has been expanded. On the heights, our troops took four more enemy strongholds, despite the zealous resistance of the AFU.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, in the #Kremennaya sector, ours report the defeat of two AFU armored vehicles and a howitzer at #Dibrova. In the #Kupyans sector, there are oncoming battles at #Sinkovka and #Kislovka. Positions are constantly changing hands, most of the latter is in the grey zone.

💥It is confirmed that yesterday’s strike on western #Ukraine destroyed a batch of missiles for the Patriot air defence system. Today, our Aerospace Forces launched another attack on theAFU’s air-shell depot in #Dolgintsevo, #Dnepropetrovsk region. Systematic attacks by our army on airfields and infrastructure may cause Western countries to delay the process of transferring F-16 fighters to #Ukraine.

Chronicles of the Special Military Operation for January 14, 2024

Today, the Russian Armed Forces did not carry out mass strikes on targets in the so-called territory of Ukraine. Instead, they focused on defeating enemy positions in the front-line regions.

In the Seversk direction, Russian troops successfully broke through near the village of Veseloye. Capturing the local heights will allow the Russian Armed Forces to strengthen their position at Razdolvka. Meanwhile, in the Bakhmut direction, fighting continued near Bogdanovka with the objective of creating a corridor to Chasiv Yar.

Despite a general decline in the pace of offensive operations in the Avdeevsky direction, Russian troops are engaged in combat on the northern flank of the fortified area towards Ocheretino, as well as near Stepovoy. In the southwestern sector, the situation is limited to local clashes near Pervomaisky and along the entire line of contact.
