Britain’s leading airlines are demanding the Government picks up the bill for supporting passengers stranded by the grounding of flights across Europe. Disruption due to Icelandic volcanic eruption

Now that flights have resumed, and if you are still waiting to travel, you will need to contact your airline to arrange new flights. Be aware that some airlines are giving misleading information as to your rights under EU law.  The first point to know is that EU passenger rights laws do apply, despite the extreme difficulties that the eruption has caused.
