Arizona Carpet & Tile Installation Introduces Wood Floor Installation

The family-owned and operated floor installation company known as Arizona Carpet & Tile Installation, has recently introduced wood floor installation services in Arizona. With this introduction, they have added many different hardwoods and engineered wood to the flooring they offer. Solid hardwoods are made from a solid piece of natural wood and usually come in planks and strips which are about ¾ inches thick. These solid hardwood floors must be installed over an approved wood subfloor to account for changes in humidity and temperature. The wood planks of the flooring also need to be nailed down and can be recoated and refinished multiple times. Engineered wood floors is made up of several sheets of wood that has been laminated together. These floors do not expand or contract under temperature or humidity changes and can be used over any subfloor.
