IMI Design, LLC Introduces Nonprofit Inspire Foundation, Inc.

Arizona and California interior designers, IMI Design, LLC,  have recently established a nonprofit corporation known as The Inspire Foundation, Inc. According to IMI Design, this foundation was established to “share this powerful aspect of design with their community and to encourage a sense of camaraderie and community awareness among other design professionals.” Each project of the Inspire Foundation consists of four phases.

The project starts with nominations of community organizations that could truly benefit from a design project that they would not typically be able to afford. After this, the selected winner’s information is provided to local higher education venues and student organization for them to submit a design concept for the remodel of the community organization. The next phases involve review of the submission, and implementation. The winning student leads the project, with help from IMI Design’s designers, and also receives scholarship funding and a paid internship with IMI Design. With the Inspire Foundation, IMI Design really looks to link the concept of design with a sense of community.
