Leading Internist Raghuram Chava, MD, FACP, to be Recognized as a 2016 Top Doctor in Baltimore, Maryland

Raghuram Chava, MD, FACP, internist at  Medstar Harbor Hospital  has been named a 2016 Top Doctor in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Raghuram Chava has been in practice for more than 13 years, and in that time has gained a reputation as one of Baltimore’’s foremost internists. His career in medicine started in 2003, when he graduated from Osmania Medical College at the University of Health Sciences in Hyderabad, India.  After moving to the United States, Dr. Chava took an internship and then residency at  Prince George’s Hospital Center, and then joined Medstar Harbor Hospital.

Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Chava diagnoses and then treats a wide range of conditions, from asthma and COPD exacerbations, uncontrolled  hypertension,congestive heart failure,chest pain  and stroke . Procedures commonly carried out by him include  echocardiograms and cardiac stress tests.

Dr. Chava is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is noted not only for his knowledge and expertise, but also for his caring and compassionate approach to his patients, taking time to understand them and their conditions. It is this laudable attitude that makes Dr. Raghuram Chava a very deserving winner of a 2016 Top Doctor Award.
