Skilled Nurse Yvonne Kinyuy Wirsiy, RN-BC, MN, PHN, to Be Published in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Yvonne Kinyuy Wirsiy, RN-BC, MN, PHN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse-Board Certified with ten years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in various areas of nursing, including long-term care and spinal cord unit nursing. Yvonne is currently serving patients at Prebyterian Homes of Bloomington, and at Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System provides for the health care needs of Veterans in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

Yvonne started her associate degree of nursing at Inver Hills Community College, and later transfer to the University of Minnesota where she graduated in 2012. She holds a master degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she is currently specializing as Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with an expected completion date in 2019. Yvonne is an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is a Public Health Nurse and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. She feels that she owes her success to her compassion for patients and her desire to incite change in the field. When she is not working, Yvonne dedicates to spending time with family.
