THREE MIND BLOWING DREAMS AND PROPHECIES

Have you heard about these three mind blowing dreams and prophecies. Only God could do this, prepare to be amazed. I have been through the Bible almost a hundred times. These three prophecies are amoung the most fascinating things I have seen.
JOSIAH
After the death of Solomon the Kingdom of Israel was divided. Jeroboam led the revolt against the line of David but he had a problem because the Temple of God was in the other half of Israel. He was afraid that the people would return to the Lord and reject him.
1 Kings 12:27 When these people go to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices at the Temple of the LORD, they will again give their allegiance to King Rehoboam of Judah. They will kill me and make him their king instead.”
Jeroboam set up two golden calf idols to keep the people from going to the true place of worship. He instituted a feast to kick off his new places of worship and to offer sacrifices to golden calves.
1 Kings 12: 33 So on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, a day that he himself had designated, Jeroboam offered sacrifices on the altar at Bethel. He instituted a religious festival for Israel, and he went up to the altar to burn incense.
JOSIAH CALLED BY NAME 360 YEARS BEFORE HE WAS BORN
1 Kings 13: 1-2 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee.
Here is what Robert Jamieson has to say: “Behold, a child shall be born. . . Josiah by name–This is one of the most remarkable prophecies recorded in the Scriptures; and, in its clearness, circumstantial minuteness, and exact prediction of an event that took place 360 years later, it stands in striking contrast to the obscure and ambiguous oracles of the heathen.”

SHAPAN READING THE BOOK OF THE LAW
Josiah is the king that was so convicted by the Book of the Law that was found as he was rebuilding the neglected temple of God. In his zeal to restore the nation to true worship he fulfilled the prophecy given about him 360 years before.

2 Kings 23: 15-16 “Josiah also broke down the altar at Bethel—the place of worship made by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had led Israel to sin. Josiah burned that place, broke the stones of the altar into pieces, then beat them into dust. He also burned the Asherah idol. When he turned around, he saw the graves on the mountain. He had the bones taken from the graves, and he burned them on the altar to ruin it. This happened as the Lord had said it would through the man of God.
Josiah asked, “What is that monument I see?”
The people of the city answered, “It’s the grave of the man of God who came from Judah. This prophet announced the things you have done against the altar of Bethel.”
Josiah said, “Leave the grave alone. No one may move this man’s bones.” So they left his bones and the bones of the prophet who had come from Samaria.”

It was pointed out to Josiah that his name and his act had been predicted. Amazing!

CYRUS CALLED BY NAME 150 YEARS BEFORE HE WAS BORN
Eighty years before Israel was carried to Babylon God revealed through Isaiah that a king Named Cyrus would arise, destroy the Babylonian empire and make a decree allowing the Jewish exiles to go back home and rebuild the Temple and Jerusalem. This prophecy was made 150 years before Cyrus was even born, and was fulfilled 180 years after Isaiah made it.

Isaiah 44:28 Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd,
And he shall perform all My pleasure,
Saying to Jerusalem, “You shall be built,”
And to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.” ’
Isaiah 45:1 “Thus says the LORD to His anointed,
To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—
To subdue nations before him
And loose the armor of kings,
To open before him the double doors,
So that the gates will not be shut:
Isaiah 45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness,
And I will direct all his ways;
He shall build My city
And let My exiles go free,
Not for price nor reward,”
Says the LORD of hosts.

Josephus, the Jewish historian, tells us that Cyrus was actually shown that God had called him by name before he was even born and predicted that he would overthrow the Babylonian empire and allow the Jews to return home. Upon reading the divine prediction, the king announced:

“Thus says Cyrus the king: Since God Almighty has appointed me to be king of the habitable earth, I believe that he is the God which the nation of the Israelites worship; for indeed he foretold my name by the prophets, and that I should build him a house at Jerusalem, in the country of Judah” (Antiquities 11.1.1).

According to Josephus, it was by this prophecy that motivated the king “to fulfill what was so written.”
Cyrus said in his own words “Jehovah, the God of heaven” had given to him the kingdoms of the earth; further…”he [God] has charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem which is in Judah” (Ezra 1:2).

ALEXANDER THE GREAT

ALEXANDER THE GREAT PREDICTED IN ASTONISHING DETAIL IN DANIEL
Alexander the Great was predicted in Daniel in amazing detail from his death at a young age, to his being succeeded by four of his generals. This prophecy was made about 250 years before Alexander was even born. 8: 1-8, 11: 2-4, AND 8: 15-22
Daniel 8: 3-8 I lifted my eyes and saw, and there, standing beside the river, was a ram which had two horns, and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward, so that no animal could withstand him; nor was there any that could deliver from his hand, but he did according to his will and became great.
And as I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. Then he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power. And I saw him confronting the ram; he was moved with rage against him, attacked the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one that could deliver the ram from his hand.

In this vision the male goat with notable horn is Alexander the Great. The ram with two horns, one horn higher than the other, is the Medo-Persian empire. The empire was made up of the Medes and Persians but the Persian side became the most dominant, hence the two horns, one higher than the other. Alexander defeated the Medo-Persian empire.

We are actually told this in verses 20-21 As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia. And the he-goat is the king of Greece; and the great horn between his eyes is the first king.

Alexander has a dream before he defeated the Persian empire. In his dream God told Alexander that He would give him victory over the Persians. He also saw a man clothed in priestly garments in his dream. God told him this man was His representative on earth.

During Alexander’s conflict with the Persians he asked the Jews for help. The Jews replied that they had sworn an oath to the Persian king and could not help as long as Darius was still in control. Alexander was angry and advanced toward Jerusalem.

Jaddua was the High Priest and he asked his people to pray. That night God appeared in a dream to Jaddua and instructed him and his fellow priests to go out dressed in their priestly clothes to meet Alexander. When Alexander saw Jaddua he did something unexpected, he went up to him and bowed before him.

When one of his generals asked why he did this , Alexander replied: “I did not adore him, but that God who hath honoured him with his high priesthood; for I saw this very person in a dream, in this very habit [garment], when I was at Dios in Macedonia, who, when I was considering with myself how I might obtain the dominion of Asia, exhorted me to make no delay, but boldly to pass over the sea thither, for that he would conduct my army, and would give me the dominion over the Persians; whence it is, that having seen no other in that habit, and now seeing this person in it, and remembering that vision, and the exhortation which I had in my dream, I believe that I bring this army under the divine conduct, and shall therewith conquer Darius, and destroy the power of the Persians, and that all things will succeed according to what is in my own mind” (Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, Book 11, chap. 8, sec. 5, William Whiston translation, 1981).

Josephus records that Alexander then accompanied the priest into Jerusalem and the temple, where he “offered sacrifice to God, according to the high priest’s direction, and magnificently treated both the high priest and the priests.”

ALEXANDER SHOWN THE BOOK OF DANIEL

Alexander was then shown the book of Daniel, written several centuries earlier, which foretold the rise and conquests of Alexander. “And when the book of Daniel was shewed him, wherein Daniel declared that one of the Greeks should destroy the empire of the Persians, he supposed that himself was the person intended; and as he was then glad, he dismissed the multitude for the present . . .” (ibid.)
Alexander let the Jews live under their own laws and gave them great freedom.

The difference between the Bible and all other religious books is prophecy. No other religion has a book like this. No other religion has a living Savior.
