A NEW POWERFUL INSIGHT ABOUT THE RAPTURE AND THE RESURRECTION

A NEW POWERFUL INSIGHT ABOUT THE RAPTURE AND THE RESURRECTION

FOUR VERY CLEAR SECTIONS OF SCRIPTURE

I want to take four very clear sections of scripture and suggest what seems to me to be an unavoidable conclusion.

THE CHURCH WILL SEE THE ANTICHRIST

2 Thessalonians 2: 1-3 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

COMMENT We see very clearly here that the subject is the rapture in verse one: “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him”

Then we see just as clearly that the rapture will not happen before the Antichrist is revealed: ” for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed “.

THE RAPTURE AND THE RESURRECTION HAPPEN AT THE SAME TIME

1 Thessalonians 4: But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

COMMENT We can very plainly see that the rapture and the resurrection occur at the very same time.

1 Corinthian 15: 51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

COMMENT Here again, both the living and the dead are changed at the same time.

THE RAPTURE AND THE RESURRECTION OCCUR AFTER THE TRIBULATION

Revelation 20: 4-5 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

COMMENT Here we see that the resurrection occurs after the tribulation because those killed in the tribulation are raised from the dead too.

CONCLUSION The rapture and the resurrection occur at the very same time. Nowhere does it say the rapture is a separate event. The resurrection includes those who died in the tribulation. THE RAPTURE AND THE RESURRECTION OCCUR AFTER THE TRIBULATION

Have you read to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord or when this silver cord snaps or the clay pot breaks we go back to the Father which gave it 1st Thess 4 read it again the ones that died are, already with the Father , I just gave you verses that say so no one is coming out of the grave flesh and blood cannot enter Heaven. As for 1st Corinthians 15:51-52 ,the ones that died are, already in spiritual bodies and at the last trump we will be changed into spiritual bodies as well this corruptible body must put on incorruptible=spiritual body

Messengermark How do you explain Daniel 12:2? “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”

Many Christians believes that everyone is resurrected at the same time, & all will be judge together, That is a denominational picture but not the truth, The Bride That has the Baptism of the Holy Ghost will raise from the dead at the time of the rapture, Not to be judged to see if we are saved or not, But to receive our reward in Eternally, When we receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost we have already past from death unto life, Little do Christians know that the 1st resurrection is in 3 phases, The first phase is when Christ rose from the dead, he also raised up those OT saints, Phase one… Phase 2 Is when the dead in Christ is risen, & phase 3 is when all those foolish virgins is raised, But there is only one 2nd resurrection, & you find that in Rev. 20:5-6 This is the resurrection of the wicked, & they are not raised to see if they are lost, But to see how long they will be punish in the lake of fire, But this was a hidden mystery until this endtime, Because Daniel was told to seal up the book(Scroll) until the endtime,Therefore the contempt & shame are those people that will be resurrected for the lake of fire after the 1000 yrs, & those that is raised to everlasting life is none other then the Christians down from Jesus to now

“flesh and blood cannot enter Heaven”

Explain then where “Elijah & Enoch” went….?

        • Casting Nets

          they were transfigured { from flesh to spirt }

        • MikeSavage

You can find that out for yourself, but they didn’t go to heaven. Flesh and blood cannot enter heaven. God doesn’t lie ever, and that’s what he said, so are you calling God a liar?

Interesting article , but, you have missed it, even after you posted the scripture.

If you believe what you read in scripture, it is impossible to say, THE RAPTURE AND THE RESURRECTION HAPPEN AT THE SAME TIME. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 clearly states, and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain (unto the coming of the Lord (from verse 15)) shall be caught up together…

Dead being raised “FIRST” indicates an order of events. “THEN” indicates soon afterward. What is not clear is the time between these events. Yes, we know these events happen at the blowing of the last trumpet according to what is written, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 , and again, it is not clear how long the last trumpet sounds.

It is written, Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound , the mystery of God should be finished , as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Here we see the “mystery” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:51 being finished in the “DAYS” of the voice of the 7th angel. This again shows us, it is not clear how long this trumpet sounds.

With this little bit of information God gave us in His written word, the resurrection clearly happens prior to the rapture.

Could this mean the ‘time’ between resurrection and rapture equals “DAYS”?
Those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, could possibly see the resurrection of the dead and even live among them for “DAYS”. Only God knows.

I encourage all those who read and understand to endure to the end.

” except there come a falling away first,”

Sure it’s common knowledge, even apologist Christians, that Christianity is based on plagiarised paganism. The logical conclusion to discovering you’ve been living a lie, is to move on.

“and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”

I can think of at least one, named Rothschild, they man who owns 99% of global currencies and news media outlets.

When you understand that Christianity is little more than a state dictatorship enforced political propaganda organisation before the days of news papers, radio and tv, to ensure the great unwashed continue to blindly obey their lord and master, keep paying their taxes like good little slaves of the state, and to not mind the rabble rousing in times of war (all the time) so they can earn their lord and master vast amounts of profit at their expense, then it’s a simple matter of fessing up, being honest with yourself. For that you need to be an objective adult, not a subjective little kiddy too stubborn to admit you’ve been fooled.

Christians believe that a simple version of the Gospel was understood, from the time of Adam, and that comparable, world religions had been corrupted. For instance, there are hundreds of accounts of a giant flood, one of which even refers to a Nu’u. A Christian version of the constellations tells the redemptive story of the Bible.

    • Apollo is the A/C

      Very good Mr Clinton,

You see past the deception of Satan who wants Christians unprepared and disarmed. Jesus states clearly the EXACT day of the Rapture in John 6:39,40,44,54 (The LAST day). If the Pre-trib Rapture is to be True then Jesus is a complete fraud!!!

No. We are to endure until the end…not 7 yrs before the end. To overcome….to be ‘Overcomers’. The Church does not avoid Judgment……no, “Judgment begins at the house of God” The Lord is about to refine His Church thru fire.

” And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

And I will bring the third part THROUGH THE FIRE, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.” Zechariah 13:8-9

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” EPH 6:13

      Rapture
Definition: The belief that faithful Christians will be bodily caught up from the earth, suddenly taken out of the world, to be united with the Lord “in the air.” The word “rapture” is understood by some persons, but not by all, to be the meaning of 1 Thessalonians 4:17. The word “rapture” does not occur in the inspired Scriptures.
When the apostle Paul said that Christians would be “caught up” to be with the Lord, what subject was being discussed?
1 Thess. 4:13-18, RS: “We would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep [“those who sleep in death,” NE; “those who have died,” TEV, JB], that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” (Evidently some members of the Christian congregation in Thessalonica had died. Paul encouraged the survivors to comfort one another with the resurrection hope. He reminded them that Jesus was resurrected after his death; so, too, at the coming of the Lord, those faithful Christians among them who had died would be raised to be with Christ.)
Who are the ones that will be ‘caught up in the clouds,’ as stated at 1 Thessalonians 4:17?
Verse 15 explains that they are faithful ones “who are left until the coming of the Lord,” that is, they are still living at the time of Christ’s coming. Will they ever die? According to Romans 6:3-5 and 1 Corinthians 15:35, 36, 44 (quoted on pages 314, 315), they must die before they can gain heavenly life. But there is no need for them to remain in the death state awaiting Christ’s return. They will instantly be “caught up,” “in the twinkling of an eye,” to be with the Lord.—1 Cor. 15:51, 52, RS; also Revelation 14:13.
Will Christ appear visibly on a cloud and then take away faithful Christians into the heavens while the world looks on?
Did Jesus say whether the world would see him again with their physical eyes?
John 14:19, RS: “Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more, but you [his faithful disciples] will see me; because I live, you will live also.” (Italics added.) (Compare 1 Timothy 6:16.)
What is the meaning of the Lord’s ‘descending from heaven’?
Could the Lord “descend from heaven,” as stated at 1 Thessalonians 4:16, without being visible to physical eyes? In the days of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah, Jehovah said that he was going to “go down to see” what the people were doing. (Gen. 18:21, RS) But when Jehovah made that inspection, no human saw him, although they did see the angelic representatives that he sent. (John 1:18) Similarly, without having to return in the flesh, Jesus could turn his attention to his faithful followers on earth to reward them.
In what sense, then, will humans “see” the Lord “coming in a cloud”?
Jesus foretold: “Then they will see the Son of man [Jesus Christ] coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” (Luke 21:27, RS) In no way does this statement or similar ones in other texts contradict what Jesus said as recorded at John 14:19. Consider: At Mount Sinai, what occurred when God ‘came to the people in a thick cloud,’ as stated at Exodus 19:9? (RS) God was invisibly present; the people of Israel saw visible evidence of his presence, but none of them actually saw God with their eyes. So, too, when Jesus said that he would come “in a cloud,” he must have meant that he would be invisible to human eyes but that humans would be aware of his presence. They would “see” him with their mental eyes, discerning the fact that he was present. (For further comments, see the main heading “Return of Christ.”)
Is it possible for Christians to be taken to heaven with their physical bodies?
1 Cor. 15:50, RS: “I tell you this, brethren: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”
Does the experience of the prophet Elijah contradict this? Not at all. It must be understood in the light of Jesus’ clear statement centuries later: “No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man.” (John 3:13, RS) Although Elijah was seen as he “went up by a whirlwind into heaven,” this does not mean that he went into the spirit realm. Why not? Because he is later reported as sending a letter of reproof to the king of Judah. (2 Ki. 2:11, RS; 2 Chron. 21:1, 12-15) Before humans invented airplanes, Jehovah there used his own means (a fiery chariot and a whirlwind) to lift Elijah off the ground into the heaven where the birds fly and to transport him to another place.—Compare Genesis 1:6-8, 20.
Will faithful Christians perhaps be taken to heaven secretly, simply disappearing from the earth without dying?
Rom. 6:3-5, RS: “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? . . . For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” (What occurred in the case of Jesus set the pattern. His disciples as well as others knew he had died. He was not restored to heavenly life until after his death and resurrection.)
1 Cor. 15:35, 36, 44, RS: “Some one will ask, ‘How are the dead raised? With what kind of body do they come?’ You foolish man! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. It is sown a physical body, it is raised a spiritual body.” (So death comes before one receives that spiritual body, does it not?)
Will all faithful Christians be taken miraculously from the earth by the Lord before the great tribulation?
Matt. 24:21, 22: “Then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.” (This does not say that “the chosen ones” will all have been taken to heaven before the great tribulation, does it? Rather, it holds out the prospect to them, along with associates in the flesh, of surviving that great tribulation on earth.)
Rev. 7:9, 10, 14, RS: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!’ . . . ‘These are they who have come out of the great tribulation.’” (To “come out” of something a person must go into it or be in it. So this great multitude must be persons who actually experience the great tribulation and come out of it as survivors.)

      Resurrection
Definition: A·na′sta·sis, the Greek word translated “resurrection,” literally means “a standing up again” and it refers to a rising up from death. The fuller expression “resurrection of (from) the dead” is used repeatedly in the Scriptures. (Matt. 22:31; Acts 4:2; 1 Cor. 15:12) The Hebrew is techi·yath′ ham·me·thim′, which means “revival of the dead.” (Matt. 22:23, ftn, NW Reference edition) Resurrection involves a reactivating of the life pattern of the individual, which life pattern God has retained in his memory. According to God’s will for the individual, the person is restored in either a human or a spirit body and yet retains his personal identity, having the same personality and memories as when he died. The provision for resurrection of the dead is a magnificent expression of Jehovah’s undeserved kindness; it displays his wisdom and power and is a means by which his original purpose regarding the earth will be carried out.
Is the resurrection a reuniting of an immaterial soul with the physical body?
For this to be possible, of course, humans would have to have an immaterial soul that could separate from the physical body. The Bible does not teach such a thing. That notion was borrowed from Greek philosophy. The Bible teaching regarding the soul is set out on pages 375-378. For evidence as to the origin of Christendom’s belief in an immaterial, immortal soul, see pages 379, 380.
Was Jesus raised in a body of flesh, and does he have such a body in heaven now?
1 Pet. 3:18: “Christ died once for all time concerning sins, a righteous person for unrighteous ones, that he might lead you to God, he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit [“by the Spirit,” KJ; “in the spirit,” RS, NE, Dy, JB].” (At his resurrection from the dead, Jesus was brought forth with a spirit body. In the Greek text the words “flesh” and “spirit” are put in contrast to each other, and both are in the dative case; so, if a translator uses the rendering “by the spirit” he should also consistently say “by the flesh,” or if he uses “in the flesh” he should also say “in the spirit.”)
Acts 10:40, 41: “God raised this One [Jesus Christ] up on the third day and granted him to become manifest, not to all the people, but to witnesses appointed beforehand by God.” (Why did not others see him too? Because he was a spirit creature and when, as angels had done in the past, he materialized fleshly bodies to make himself visible, he did so only in the presence of his disciples.)
1 Cor. 15:45: “It is even so written: ‘The first man Adam became a living soul.’ The last Adam [Jesus Christ, who was perfect as was Adam when created] became a life-giving spirit.”
What does Luke 24:36-39 mean regarding the body in which Jesus was resurrected?
Luke 24:36-39: “While they [the disciples] were speaking of these things he himself stood in their midst and said to them: ‘May you have peace.’ But because they were terrified, and had become frightened, they were imagining they beheld a spirit. So he said to them: ‘Why are you troubled, and why is it doubts come up in your hearts? See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; feel me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones just as you behold that I have.’”
Humans cannot see spirits, so the disciples evidently thought they were seeing an apparition or a vision. (Compare Mark 6:49, 50.) Jesus assured them that he was no apparition; they could see his body of flesh and could touch him, feeling the bones; he also ate in their presence. Similarly, in the past, angels had materialized in order to be seen by men; they had eaten, and some had even married and fathered children. (Gen. 6:4; 19:1-3) Following his resurrection, Jesus did not always appear in the same body of flesh (perhaps to reinforce in their minds the fact that he was then a spirit), and so he was not immediately recognized even by his close associates. (John 20:14, 15; 21:4-7) However, by his repeatedly appearing to them in materialized bodies and then saying and doing things that they would identify with the Jesus they knew, he strengthened their faith in the fact that he truly had been resurrected from the dead.
If the disciples had actually seen Jesus in the body that he now has in heaven, Paul would not later have referred to the glorified Christ as being “the exact representation of [God’s] very being,” because God is a Spirit and has never been in the flesh.—Heb. 1:3; compare 1 Timothy 6:16.
When reading the reports of Jesus’ postresurrection appearances, we are helped to understand them properly if we keep in mind 1 Peter 3:18 and 1 Corinthians 15:45, quoted on page 334.
See also pages 217, 218, under “Jesus Christ.”
Who will be resurrected to share heavenly life with Christ, and what will they do there?
Luke 12:32: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.” (These do not include all who have exercised faith; the number is limited. Their being in heaven is for a purpose.)
Rev. 20:4, 6: “I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. . . . Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years.”
See also pages 162-168, under the heading “Heaven.”
Will those raised to heavenly life eventually have glorified physical bodies there?
Phil. 3:20, 21: “The Lord Jesus Christ . . . will refashion our humiliated body to be conformed to his glorious body according to the operation of the power that he has.” (Does this mean that it is their body of flesh that will eventually be made glorious in the heavens? Or does it mean that, instead of having a lowly body of flesh, they will be clothed with a glorious spirit body when raised to heavenly life? Let the following scripture answer.)
1 Cor. 15:40, 42-44, 47-50: “There are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly bodies is one sort, and that of the earthly bodies is a different sort. So also is the resurrection of the dead. . . . It is sown a physical body, it is raised up a spiritual body. . . . The first man [Adam] is out of the earth and made of dust; the second man [Jesus Christ] is out of heaven. As the one made of dust is, so those made of dust are also; and as the heavenly one is, so those who are heavenly are also. And just as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we shall bear also the image of the heavenly one. However, this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom.” (There is no allowance here for any mixing of the two sorts of bodies or the taking of a fleshly body to heaven.)
How did Jesus demonstrate what resurrection will mean for mankind in general?
John 11:11, 14-44: “[Jesus said to his disciples:] ‘Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.’ . . . Jesus said to them outspokenly: ‘Lazarus has died.’ . . . When Jesus arrived, he found he [Lazarus] had already been four days in the memorial tomb. . . . Jesus said to her [Martha, a sister of Lazarus]: ‘I am the resurrection and the life.’ . . . He cried out with a loud voice: ‘Lazarus, come on out!’ The man that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: ‘Loose him and let him go.’” (If Jesus had thus called Lazarus back from a state of bliss in another life, that would have been no kindness. But Jesus’ raising Lazarus up from a lifeless state was a kindness both to him and to his sisters. Once again Lazarus became a living human.)
Mark 5:35-42: “Some men from the home of the presiding officer of the synagogue came and said: ‘Your daughter died! Why bother the teacher any longer?’ But Jesus, overhearing the word being spoken, said to the presiding officer of the synagogue: ‘Have no fear, only exercise faith.’ . . . He took along the young child’s father and mother and those with him, and he went in where the young child was. And, taking the hand of the young child, he said to her: ‘Tal′i·tha cu′mi,’ which, translated, means: ‘Maiden, I say to you, Get up!’ And immediately the maiden rose and began walking, for she was twelve years old. And at once they were beside themselves with great ecstasy.” (When the general resurrection takes place on earth during Christ’s Millennial Reign, doubtless many millions of parents and their offspring will be overjoyed when they are reunited.)
What prospects will await those raised

    • Anonymous

imho, it doesn’t make sense, to meet Jesus in the air, as he comes down to Earth.

Also, the End Times are compared to the days of Lot and Noah, neither of whom went through those tribulations, alongside everyone else.

      • Emery

        Beaumont;
It says nowhere in the scriptures that Jesus comes down to Earth again. It DOES say that he will never do that again. It also says that Jesus will take his throne 2520 years after the destruction of Jerusalem, which happened in 607 B.C. 2520 years after that destruction is 1914, the year that WWI started. It says Satan was hurled down to Earth when Jesus took his throne, and Satan is angry because he knows he only has a short time, and woe to the Earth. Heavens rejoice, because Satan can no longer enter heaven.

          Zechariah 14:4
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

          HB;
You teach from false translations, and teach the lies of man and of religion, not the word of God. You even take metaphors as literal which is quite dangerous. Show some I.Q. and research the truth of what you are “attempting” to say, because you haven’t got the sense of the scripture that you quote.

        • HumanBeing

Lol @ Savage, who wouldn’t know true from false since he doesn’t read the Greek or Hebrew. He has no clue how to show from the original languages whether an English translation is accurate, but he’s sure that it must be wrong if it shows him to be the liar he is.

In the liar’s own words: “Show some I.Q. and research the truth of what you are “attempting” to say, because you haven’t got the sense of the scripture that you quote.”

By his own words he is condemned.

          HB;
Are you always such a childish jerk, or do you have to work at it?

        • BEEF SUPREME

Your insults don’t even make sense, Emery Richard. How do you expect to wrest accurate meaning from ancient texts if you haven’t even mastered the skills needed to wield your own modern language, Savage Michaelson?

Guess what the JW’s own “translation” says about Jesus’ feet touching the earth?
          http://www.jw.org/en/publications/bible/nwt/books/zechariah/14/

Zech. 14:4 In that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in half, from east to west, forming a very great valley; and half of the mountain will move to the north, and half of it to the south.”

Most JWs at least have a passing familiarity with their own “translation”, but not Savage Mike Emery!

The annointed remnant figuratively meet Jesus in the air, not literally. We are now in the end times and have been for one hundred years. The comparison to the days of Lot and Noah refer to people going about their business and paying no attention to the warnings, so the end comes upon them as quite a shock. Noah preached about the flood for a LONG time before it happened. Many preach about the coming end of the end times and have for quite a while, and it will take almost everyone by surprise, just as in the days of Noah and the Great Floodl

See the Anti Christ? They have elected him twice. Just look at his unholy agenda for U.S. and the Rest of the World .

The whole rapture story has been hashed over for two thousand years filled with fakes, frauds and false prophets that have come and gone.

Two will be in the field, one will be taken and one will be left. I wonder what that’s all about? I guess we will have to just ignore that scripture right? Or what about the seven churches and what happens to them in revelation? Particularly the church of Philadelphia ? Do we just throw that one out too?
For those of you who like to tell everyone that the rapture isn’t in scripture, rapture is the Latin translation of the word harpazo in the original text. Look it up on blueletterbible dot org.
Actually, those who believe in the harpazo, believe because of the leading of the spirit. If that’s not you, then pray the Lord opens your understanding and he will reveal it to you as it is not complicated. The mystery of the ecclesia ( the truly sanctified church / body of believers ) is what throws so many off when the harpazo or rapture is discussed. Once you have been born again into the spirit, you have the deposit of the spirit within you. Will he ever leave you or forsake you? If you were to keep reading a bit more of the quoted scripture, you will find it says the man of perdition will not be revealed until the restrainer is removed (2 Thes 2:7)? Who is the restrainer of sin in the bible? So if the deposit of the Holy Spirit is within you, do you actually believe it will be ripped out of you once the man of perdition is revealed? Have you thought how the 144000 and the two witnesses tie in to all of this? Who are the 24 elders in revelation 4? Don’t Elders belong to the church?
I choose what the Lord has revealed to me over what anyone says on this subject and you should too. I spent years seeking the Lords guidance on the subject and am amazed at so many that trust what their eyes see and minds conceive over the leading of the spirit who reveals the meaning of the scriptures. I hope this help anyone out there who somehow knows something about this article just isn’t right. That’s the leading of the Spirit and you should trust in that and seek him who can reveal the Truth to you.

Understanding that scripture isn’t as easy as just reading it. It is addressed to THE ANNOINTED 144,000. The only ones to go to heaven. The ones who are co-kings with Jesus in the Kingdom that will rule Earth very soon.
