Heads up! NASA Scientist Holly Gilbert is warning that solar flares are reaching volatile tipping points that could lead to many power outages across the country. According to a joint research study by Lyoyd’s of London and the U.S. Atmospheric and Environmental Research if solar mega storms were to knock out the power grid then the western world could be left in the dark for days, months, or even years depending on there severity of the flare.
Solar storms are massive explosions in the sun’s atmosphere that can propel large amounts of radiation towards the Earth, if large enough it could pierce our magnetosphere and internally interrupt electrical networks that are reliant on electricity. Considering the U.S.’s power gird is already outdated, we could be in for a world of hurt.
In recent months solar flare activity has skyrocketed and 2015 is looking to be a year of major increases and prospective threats of blackouts. We have already had two scares of potential solar apocalypses that just so happened to miss the Earth…but experts fear we will not always be so lucky.
If earth was hit by an X-class flare, we would be sent back to the dark ages. Our technological advancements would malfunction, factories, pipelines, sewage plants, water delivery, and the economy would collapse and shut down. The Sun will not cause an ELE this time. ET’s have done what is necessary to assure Earth remains habitable, at least marginally. Once the elite are gone, ET’s will assist us with info and technology to return Earth to a pristine condition. Things are going to get very bad but that is a result of the insane rulers of Earth. Idiotic. Earth is hit with the largest solar flares on average about 10 times with level 10 X flares, every 11 year cycle. This cycle we’ve only had a couple of small X flares and ZERO level 10′s. Earth’s magnetic energy fields is bombarded with solar flares that are essential to keeping Earth warm. The last solar cycle produce so little it is looking more like it’s mini ice age time. They take place about 200 years apart, the last one was about 200 years ago and lasted decades. You’ll be an old lady by the time it warms up again, if we don’t fall back into the ice age we are in and have been in for the past c30 million years. We are in an interglacial period, within an ice age, we need all the solar flares we can get.
If a large solar flare took out your energy supply, only a few people would be sent back to the dark ages, as far as transformers and electronic gizmo’s are concerned. Local, not global.
