This “rapture’ poppycock has become very prevalent throughout Christendom. It is total misinformation. Jesus himself said no man ascends to heaven who has not descended from heaven, the son of man Jesus Christ. He also gave us in the Lord’s Prayer a remarkable example of how to approach God in prayer and exactly what to pray for. The second verse of the Lord’s Prayer says; Thy Kingdom come thy will be done one earth as it is in heaven. This corresponds perfectly with the aforementioned.

Likewise the bible’s book of Revelation clearly illuminates God’s desire to bring His Kingdom to earth. It demonstrates His plan to establish His rein here on earth. This of course presents the logical question; if God and His Kingdom are coming to earth why would anyone even want to go to heaven. Where you aware that the idea of ascending to heaven was Satan’s expressed desire? Truth is, it was never part of God’s plan for mankind. The following passage shows the origin of this blasphemous concept.

Isaiah 14:12 ” How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

The next scripture we’ll examine shows with unarguable clarity God’s true intention.

Rev. 21:1 “21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the (SECOND DEATH.)

I included verses 4 through 8 for the purpose of explaining the “second death.” Why is this so important you ask? If man actually had this self sustaining immortal soul that either ascended to heaven or descended to a torturous eternity upon their passing then what is the first and second resurrections about? If you were already spirit why would God need to resurrect you. If He did, exactly what is the “second death” then?

This is how it actually works. When we die we return to the ground. From the dust we came, to the dust we return. We remain dead in the grave conscious of nothing as the decomposition our physical body occurs. Our presence is ultimately absorbed back into the earth from where we originally came.

At the second coming of Jesus Christ the first of two resurrections will happen. This involves one hundred forty-four thousand people God has selected over the past six thousand years to help Jesus run God’s Kingdom here on earth during the first thousand years after it is established here. They will be resurrected to a spirit essence. After the thousand year rein of Christ the second round of resurrection happens. In this particular phase everyone who has ever lived and died will be resurrected to a restored physical body. After an examination period these people will be given one last opportunity to repent and choose God’s ways as demonstrated through example. In conclusion, all those who accept will be transformed into spirit, however any who refuse God will be put to death for the second time. This is what is meant by the SECOND DEATH.

The eternal punishment is not eternal torture. Yahweh is a God of love (agape) he would never torture his most prized creation, His children. What is meant by eternal punishment is that it lasts forever. Once this final action is taken there is no further opportunity for future resurrection or contact with God, it’s done, over and forever! See the difference?

The rapture misunderstanding is probably rooted in the book of Revelation where it speaks about the 144,000 after their resurrections ascending to the heavens, not heaven where God resides, to meet Jesus in a display for all man to view. Look at it this way, if the 144,000 ascended to heaven where God lives everyone on earth would be prevented from seeing this miraculous event that scripture promises will be in plain view.

Anyone who willfully embraces this rapture inaccuracy is guilty of idolatry. It is a gross depiction of God that distorts His true plan and purpose. If you refuse to repent for your participation, the penalty for unrepented sin is death. Salvation is freely given but not to those who worship a false depiction of God Almighty, His son and distort His intention to establish His family, Elohim here on a paradise earth.
