A Word from the Lord…

Q:  Lord – what about the other feasts?  Would you maybe come on them instead? 
Like Passover?  Unleavened Bread?  Feast of First Fruits?
A:  “Well, they all celebrated Me – but now I’m celebrating you – it’s a Church event – it’s a Wedding – so it has to be Shavuot because that’s when the Church started – and now – it’s when it’s going to finish, to end.

Sure, yes, people will still get saved during The Great Tribulation, but they will be added to the Church – but the ‘Church’ would have already ascended into Heaven.

These savings of souls are at My Mercy – it’s just because of My Grace that I do them – desire that no-one should perish.”

Q:  Lord, are people going to say it’s date setting, and all of that stuff?
A:  “Well, it’s in My Word – there are no ‘dates’ set.  You still don’t know what ‘day’ it’s going to be on or what ‘hour’.

It says nothing in the Bible that you can’t know the Feast Day I’m coming back on.  And besides, it’s already in there – remember – I told you that.”

Q:  Lord, where does it say what Feast Day you’re coming on?
A:  “It’s written between the lines, so to speak.”

Q:  Lord, why not on the day you ascended into Heaven?  Why not return that day?
A:  “Because I said I would return the ‘same way’ – doesn’t mean the same day.

You need to know the purpose of the Feast Day to accurately choose the correct one.

Shavuot – Shavuot – it’s the birth of My Church – everyone knows that that’s in Me – so they, that’s also the end.  Simple – but yet true and profound.  Amen.  Amen.”  9:48am

Acts 1:11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, which was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven.”

Shavuot (Feast of Weeks) in The Old Testament (Leviticus 23:15-21) (Day of Pentecost)

-Shavuot occurs 50 days or seven weeks after Passover

-It is a harvest celebration commerating God’s provision for and sustenance of His people

-Shavuot shares two important characteristics with the holidays Pesach (Passover) and Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles)

-All three holidays involved a pilgrimage to Jerusalem

-All three holidays involved firstfruit offerings at the Temple

-Passover, in early spring, included firstfruits from the first harvest, ‘barley’

-Shavuot, (Feast of Weeks) in late spring, included firstfruits from the ‘wheat harvest’.  Among the many offerings given, was a ‘wave offering’ of two loaves of unleavened bread.  This was the firstfruits offering

-Sukkot, in the fall, was the final harvest and included firstfruits of ‘olives and grapes‘

Exodus 23:16 Feast of Weeks (Shavuot – Day of Pentecost)
and the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field.

Exodus 23: 14-21 Three Annual Feasts
“Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: ¹⁵ You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt; none shall appear before Me empty); ¹⁶ and the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field.  ¹⁷ “Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord God.¹⁸ “You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; nor shall the fat of My sacrifice remain until morning.  ¹⁹ The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk. ²⁰ The priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest. ²¹ And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Numbers 28:27-30 You shall present a burnt offering as a sweet aroma to the Lord: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs in their first year, ²⁸ with their grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram, ²⁹ and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs; ³⁰also one kid of the goats, to make atonement for you.

Exodus 34:22-23 And you shall observe the Feast of Weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s end.  ²³ “Three times in the year all your men shall appear before the Lord, the Lord God of Israel. ²⁴ For I will cast out the nations before you and enlarge your borders; neither will any man covet your land when you go up to appear before the Lord your God three times in the year.

Deuteronomy 16:9-12 The Feast of Weeks Reviewed (Shavuot-Day of Pentecost)
⁹ “You shall count seven weeks for yourself; begin to count the seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain. ¹⁰ Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give as the Lord your God blesses you. ¹¹ You shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. ¹² And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall be careful to observe these statutes.

Deuteronomy 16:16 “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed.

Leviticus 23: 15-21 The Feast of Weeks (Shavuot)
‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day
that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. ¹⁶ Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord. ¹⁷ You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be
baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the Lord. ¹⁸ And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs of the first year, without blemish, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be as a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma to the Lord. ¹⁹ Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of a peace offering. ²⁰ The priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest. ²¹ And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

Joel 2:28 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.

Shavuot (Feast of Weeks) in The New Testament is the Day of Pentecost

Acts 2:1-4 Coming of the Holy Spirit
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. ² And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. ³ Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. ⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Matthew 9:37, 38 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. ³⁸ Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Colossians 2:16-18 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, ¹⁷ which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

If you want to receive Jesus Christ into your heart, you can just say a simple prayer like this:  Dear Jesus, The Saviour of the World, today I come before You and want to make You The Lord and Saviour of my life.  I need You to save Me from all of my sins.  I have been wrong by not serving you earlier.  I am truly sorry for each and every sin, each and every wrong action that I have done in my life.  I ask You for complete forgiveness of all of my sins.  I ask You to completely wash all of my sins away from me, from my name, from my soul by The Precious Blood of The Lamb.  I believe that Jesus Christ died for me on The Cross.  I accept what He did for me as complete payment for my sins.  I ask You to please write my name in The Book of Life, so that I can live my eternal life with You in Heaven.  I ask all of this from you, Jesus.  And I thank You for Your free gift of salvation – that You paid in full by shedding all of Your Blood and Your Life for me.   Thank You for taking Me into Your Arms and into Your Heart.  I love You ever so much.  Until We see each other on The Other Side, I’ll always love you and stay faithful to You – even to the end of the age.  I love you Jesus and thank You for everything You’ve done for me.  I pray all this in Jesus Name.  Amen.
