The Time of Sorrows Fast Approaching - Watch for a Major Event in Israel
In Matthew 24, we read the following:
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
These words were spoken by Jesus when his disciples asked him to tell them about the sign of his coming and of the end of the world. What is very interesting is the fact that Jesus starts by pointing out the deception that will accompany the end-time and that the world will be deceived by imposters who will claim to be Christ. This is however also part of God’s plan for the world and for Israel as we can see in the passage below:
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
According to Jesus’ words, we see that Israel will indeed be deceived by someone who will claim to be their messiah but will in fact be the Antichrist:
Joh 5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
We know that Israel is expecting their Messiah to arrive on the scene soon as we read in the news article below:

The Bible also provides us with information showing us that Israel’s true Messiah will only reveal himself to his chosen nation when they are going through Great Tribulation and after they acknowledged their error in rejecting Yeshuah and accepting the Antichrist:
Hos 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
God also tells us in his Word that He created the sun, moon and stars as a celestial clock to point out specific events that are known as appointed times and that Israel have been instructed to keep these special appointed days annually and perpetually to ensure that they would be in a position to recognise the fulfilment of these “appointed times” by their Messiah. The Feast days are described in Leviticus 23. From historic records and the Biblical narative, we know that God marked the start of the first set or “Season” of Feast Days – also known as the Spring Feats – with a 3-hour long eclipse. This was a truly spectacular sign to Israel – also recorded by secular historians – that was completely ignored by Israel at the time that it occurred.
God uses patterns to teach us from events in the past so that we can know how He will act in the future. Taking note of this, we can see, by studying God’s Word, how He has described in detail another amazing heavenly sign that “incidentally” falls on the day which would have God’s focus shift from his Church back to Israel.
From Daniel’s prophecy that he received from Gabriel, we know that there is one week of years that are yet unfulfilled and that this time period is known as “Jacob’s Trouble”. This period of time has the most prophecies written about it in all of God’s Word and God has shown those who search his scriptures how to know that we are actually approaching its start. It is the only celectial sign that God has given in his Word that plays out over a period of about 10 months and this period of time is also known as the Time of Sorrows as it is marked by both the conception and the birth as seen in Genesis 3:16.
The sign that God has given the world is the one described by John in Revelation 12. “Incidentally” this vision is actually prophesied about in the very first prophecy given by God in his Word and concerns the Virgin that would be giving birth to the Seed that was promised to redeem the world.
Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
There is in fact a very rare physical celestial embodiment of this sign that plays out in the heavens starting on November 20th, 2016. Referring back to what Jesus said in Matthew 24, we know that He speaks about the Time of Sorrows. The very first prophecy that God gave in Genesis 3:16 speaks about the conception and the sorrows that will be multiplied as part of the birthing process.
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
We now have a celestial sign that represents both the prophecy given by God in Genesis 3:16 and the Time of Sorrows that Jesus describes in Matthew 24. In the book of Daniel there is also a reference to this where Gabriel tells Daniel to seal up the vision and the prophecy – referring to the prophecy in Genesis 3:16 and the vision that would be given to John in Revelation 12:
Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
We further know through study that the Woman in Travail is symbolic of Israel through which the Messiah is born from a Virgin into the world. Jesus explains in Matthew 24 that there will be events that will lead up to the time of the end. He specifically states that when these events occur that the end is not yet:
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
These are indicators to those who are studying the signs of the times as we approach the final seven years on earth, just as the wise men from the East knew exactly when Israel’s Messiah would be born, during the days of Jesus.
So what should we expect in the months to come?
Well, we know that God’s focus will be shifting back to Israel during Jacob’s Trouble. We also know that Israel is expecting to see their Messiah being revealed soon. From Jesus’ description in Matthew 24 we know that the Messiah that Israel will recognize will be a false messiah and that he will deceive them for a period of time. I believe that the Time of Sorrows will also have a specific role involving Israel and to prepare them for accepting their false messiah. Based on what God’s Word is saying in Genesis 3:16 and in Revelation 12:1&2 and comparing it with the celestial sign that have been discovered, we see that conception starts on November 20, 2016. Birth takes place on September 9, 2017 and the description as given by John of the woman clothed with the sun, the moon at her feet and 12 stars at her head is matched on September 23rd, 2017. We also know that this sign falls on the conclusion of the next Feast Day due for fulfilment – the first one of the Fall Season. This matches the pattern that we see God used when pointing out the start of the Spring Feasts. It is also interesting that this next Feast Day is the only one known as the day for which nobody knows the day nor the hour, as it could fall on one of two days. This day also points to the conclusion of the Church Age and would be the most likely date for the revelation of the identity of Israel’s false messiah.
As the nation of Israel will most likely go through a time of dire hardship starting on November 20th of 2016, this will prepare them for the “great delusion” that God is sending over the earth. Through the hardship that they will experience, the Antichrist will seem like the perfect fulfilment of being their Messiah, bringing them peace and security through a 7-year peace accord between Israel and those that would see Israel destroyed. Be not deceived! Israel’s true Messiah will not make peace deals with the enemy – Yeshuah will destroy them with the Word of his mouth.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Jer 30:11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
If this interpretation is wrong, then nothing will transpire in Israel between 20 and 22 November of 2016. If however, something significant happens to Israel between these dates, then we can be sure that the world has entered the Time of Sorrows and that God is in the process of preparing the world for the Tribulation period that will start 9 months later. Just as we can know when this period starts, we can also know when and how this period will end and what will occur at its end.
According to God’s Word, September 23, 2017 is the day on which the Antichrist will step onto the scene and the world will finally know his identity. Most of the world will be deceived – firstly Israel by seemingly receiving favour from this person for a period of time and secondly the rest of the nations who will have to choose to worship him or choose to die.

It is impossible to not believe in the rapture but to believe in the resurrection because they happen as one event. This is confirmed by 1 Thes 4:17-18 and 1 Cor 15:51-52. Jesus also spoke of the resurrection/rapture, but I won’t list all the scriptures here. You can find them at ItsHisStory.com. Those who deny the rapture must also deny the resurrection for that reason, and Paul had to straighten out the Corinthians for the same mistake.

Walter, thanks bro for calling the obvious. I can’t believe that folks still buy into the rapture malarkey. It goes hand and hand with the trinity tripe. The delusions of the spiritually retarded amaze me. This is truly willful ignorance. I cannot believe we and these folks are reading out of the same book KJV. People see what they what to see, I guess. We’re all sinners so admittedly their sin is no worse than mine, but rapture? Come on!
Again the best test for doctrine is to compare it to what is said beginning at Revelation twenty-one verse two. If what is being advocated conflicts with God’s Kingdom coming down from Heaven to earth, or the fact that He will live here among us, be our Father, without pulling any punches I’ll go ahead and say it, it’s an outright lie! You’re not going to Heaven, not during a rapture and certainly not when you die. Not even after you’re resurrected!
To those who embrace this nonsense, think about this logically. If there was a rapture and there is most certainly not as the Judge kindly pointed out, what would you do in heaven if God, His son Jesus and His Family Elohim are all here on earth for all eternity? I’m lost, what exactly is it you seek. Remember the idea of ascending to Heaven originated with Lucifer.
Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
And if those resurrected to spirit as firstfruits are the one’s referred to by the rapture camp, who then would help Christ govern God’s Kingdom during Christ’s millennial rein. Isn’t that what they are supposed to become priests and such?
Rev 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Now look at how that passage correlates perfectly with Revelation 21:2
Rev 21:2 “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now don’t be stumbled or thrown back by the second death terminology. What this means is truly simple. The 144,000 resurrected first, those slotted to help Christ are raised to immortal spirit. They have like Jesus, the first of many sons to come entered the Family of Elohim. They are spirit no longer subject to physical death.
Now all those who are resurrected after the thousand years, which is pretty much everyone who does not survive the tribulation and live on into the millennial period, are raised to a restored physical body. This is why they can die again. They will be granted a short period of evaluation. If they choose to live alternatively to what has been exampled through the millennium, if they reject God’s ways and refuse to repent of sin they will return to their former state of death. This is the action of a loving God!
God doesn’t torture, unless He’s a liar, and He isn’t, the wage for unrepented sin is death. From the dust you came to the dust you will return. I pray you all get to know this miraculous God that everyone distorts so freely. He is amazing.

As you are a student of the Word, I would like to get your perspective on some of the other passages from God’s Word that would seem to contradict what you are saying in your comment above:
You say that if what is being advocated conflicts with God’s Kingdom coming down from Heaven to earth it is an outright lie. My viewpoint on this is that if any viewpoint conflicts with anything that is written in God’s Word, then there is a problem and a need for review. Now, I would first like to make it clear that I agree with you that God’s Kingdom will be coming down to earth and that He will reign on earth for a thousand years after the Great Tribulation. However, there are some passages from God’s Word that paints a slightly different picture to the one that you have provided above, specifically to do with what happens at the beginning of the Tribulation and at the end. Firstly, we have Jesus’ explanation to his disciples in:
Joh 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Note here that Jesus specifically tells us that “He will receive us unto himself” and that we will be where He is (which is in heaven) – and not that He will be where we are (which is on earth). If Jesus intended us to understand that He was going to prepare a place for us here on earth, then the passage above does not make any sense, and we also have never seen any evidence for such a notion. You also need to know how the Bride and the Bridegroom relationship works from a Jewish perspective. Once the betrothal has taken place the bridegroom goes away to prepare a place for his bride in his father’s house. He then returns at an unannounced time to fetch his bride and they return to the Bridegroom’s father’s house – the bridegroom does not stay with the bride at her house at this point. A wedding ceremony then takes place at the father’s house and is followed by a 7-day period – allowing the bride and the bridegroom 7 days to consummate the marriage and to become husband and wife.
In addition to this, let us wander over to the Old Testament and look at some other passages that point to people occupying these “prepared dwellings” during the Time of Trouble, that Jesus went to prepare after He returned to our Heavenly Father.
Isa_26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Zep_2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.
These verses clearly tells us that we are not dealing with the Exodus of Israel out of Egypt, as it was firstly written long after this event and secondly tie to another passage that points to the end-time:
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
These passages all speak about the same event. In the passage from Isaiah, we see that people enter their chambers BEFORE the indignation, not afterwards. We also see that this passage mentions the slain that will no longer be covered and this connect directly to the passage in Thessalonians where we are told that the dead in Christ will rise and join us in our gathering unto Christ to be where He is and to occupy our dwellings prepared for us by Jesus, while the indignation of God is poured out over the earth.
We also see that the Antichrist and Satan will be thrown down to earth and will no longer have access to heaven and will blaspheme against God, his name, his tabernacle and specifically “those that dwell in heaven”.
Rev_13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and THEM THAT DWELL IN HEAVEN.
This is all happening during the Tribulation Period and who would those be that dwell in heaven then?

God will not be leaving heaven until the end of the Tribulation, but his Bride will be married to him during this period. Those that belong to him have not been appointed to wrath and will be joining him in heaven during the 7-years prior to his return to reign on earth for 1,000 years. When He returns we will accompany him and this is confirmed in several passages from the Word as well:
Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
These armies and saints are not angels as the fine, white and clean linen that they are wearing identify them and is described just a few verses prior:
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and HIS WIFE hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that SHE SHOULD BE ARRAYED IN FINE LINEN, CLEAN AND WHITE: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
It is clear to see that at the time when Jesus returns to the earth with his saints the Bride has already become the Bridegroom’s wife.

I have explained this to blinded people like you a long time….you are correct in one statement…. there is no rapture,, there is a taking away! at the endtime when Christ returns the 1st time to carry the dead in Christ and believers to heaven for 1000 years.. this is the millennium…all the non believers at that time on earth with be struck down by his brightness of his coming! and Satan will be bound on earth during this time to rein over his fallen world…he will be left alone for all his devices and minions… which at that time will achieve nothing!
We believers in Christ will return in all out glory down to earth with the new Jerusalem…at that time the dead in Christ will be resurrected just long enough to mass the armies with Satan to attack the new Jerusalem.. which at that time is Armageddon…. Christ will raise his hand and say that is enough and all are thrown into the lake of fire which consumes the body and the soul and they will cease to exist!
