President Donald Trump has received harsh criticism for calling out CNN as “fake news,” but he isn’t the only Commander-in-Chief who has singled out a network in the past; he’s just the only one the media is telling you about.

Indeed, Barack Obama seemed to have an unhealthy disdain for Fox News throughout his eight years in office, though the mainstream media gave him a giant pass. Not so much for his Republican predecessor.

Remember during Obama’s second term, when Obama and his administration not only choose to freeze out the FOX News organization but relentlessly mocked them and implied that they were untrustworthy?

The fact of the matter is that OBAMA is the one who created all of this cesspool of leftist bias. The liberal MSM were so used to being stroked by the Obama Administration, while the Obama administration froze out all contact with every major conservative outlet, that they don’t know what to do with themselves now that their party is out of office.

This topic highlights a glaring double-standard between the way right-wing leaders are treated by the press, versus their liberal counterparts. Obama could have said anything he wanted about Fox, whether it was merited or not, and have subsequently gotten away with it, just as he got away with many other things a Republican president would have been impeached for.

On the other hand, Trump simply called CNN out for years of biased reporting and blatantly fake stories. For this, he has been painted as some sort of lunatic with a mental disorder. It isn’t hard to see the dichotomy.
