Surely there must be a translation error in the above bible verse. You cannot expect an INTELLIGENT PERSON to beleive in a potentially fairy-tale entity/God right from the get go, because by the same token such a fool might also have FAITH in the goodness of an evil government=religion as well.
The verse screems out that God is ONLY pleased by phsychopathic impressionable mindless fools.
How is it possible a good all-knowing-God would NOT also be pleased with an intelligent rational person dilligently seeking God prior to having any SANE reason for beleiving God exists, or that God is Good? If God is ONLY interested in those with BLIND FAITH then God may as well be an evil Luciferian like Jeffery Epstein!
Furthermore, why would God have ANY INTEREST WHATSOEVER in people solely having BLIND FAITH? It’s like, WELCOME TO THE EXCLUSIVLY LUNATICS CLUB!
The crux of the matter is applying “But without Faith it is impossible to please him” to a diligent seeker of God PRIOR to having sufficient grounds for having faith in God/the Bible. In this specific context the diligent seeker cannot please God because he/she does not have what can only be termed BLIND FAITH according to this passage. Was this somehow NOT clear in my original argument?

Paul preached the crosswalk for the believer, it is strait, and it is narrow. The modern church does not preach what Paul (nor Jesus) preached. You are reciting the very “doctrines” that Jesus warned against (but the scriptures must be fulfilled).
The “different gospel” Paul is referring to is the EZ, “just have faith” doctrine that has taken over the Laodicean church; just as Jesus, Paul, Peter, Jude, and John said it would. It is “different” from the strait/narrow way crosswalk that Jesus said we all MUST DO in order to be saved. Jesus gave us no other way.

You will get “approval” from anyone who hears an “EZ gospel” that does not require them to OBEY the word of God, which Jesus commanded all of us to DO: take up your OWN cross; and enter the STRAIT (with obstacles) gate; walk the NARROW (compressing) way; to Calvary/to death; and CONTINUE in His doctrine; seek, strike, ask, knock, endure; with IMPORTUNITY until the END. Salvation comes at the END of the narrow way after much DIFFICULTY and persecutions and endurance and patience.
Sinner’s prayers and “just believe” do not save anyone. They are wide and broad and EZ, where the vast majority of Christians have parked themselves today.
