From the field of artificial erotic technology research, it is being transformed into a field that in the future will help people treat fears and anxieties related to intimacy or help trauma victims to rediscover their bodies and sexuality.

The “virtual girlfriend” phenomenon is already very fashionable in Japan. Artificial intelligence-based girlfriends, available at any time of the day or night on the phone, who maintain a conversation with you, adapt to your problems as well as to your manner of speaking. In Japanese research, they affect a woman’s ability to date age in real life and delay her first intercourse. This is a trend that is already going on in Japan, where many young people under the age of 30 prefer to develop sexuality online rather than in real life, which is coming to the rest of the world as well.

There are already a hundred manufacturers working on this topic, in the United States, in Japan. The numbers show that people are not against the idea. One in two Americans says they will be ready to have sex with a robot within the next thirty years. The trigger will come when the moral barrier falls. And one day, it will inevitably fall.

More and More Virtual Reality

It is underestimated that the sex industry has always been at the forefront of significant technological advances, and the pornography sector is primarily driven by virtual reality. Right now, the X industry is not doing too much quality stuff in terms of VR, to the fault of too low a budget. And it is even possible that concepts related to fidelity, in relationships where there is a real doll, will have to be reconsidered, at least adapted. At any rate, people need to discuss the topic of future relationships.
