There Are No End Times! The Latter Days Are Not Our Days!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Gen. 49:1, “And Jacob calleth unto his sons and saith, `Be gathered together, and I declare to you that which doth happen with you in the latter end of the days.” (Young’s Literal Translation, YLT)       or

Gen. 49:1,  And Jacob called his sons and said, “Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days:”  (NKJV)

Whose last days?   Jacob, or Israel, was giving the blessings to his sons, the tribes of Israel, at his death bed.  The latter days, or the last days were for the tribes of Israel!

Notice specifically the blessing given to Judah.

Gen 49: 8-12, Judah! thou — thy brethren praise thee! Thy hand [is] on the neck of thine enemies, Sons of thy father bow themselves to thee.  A lion’s whelp [is] Judah, For prey, my son, thou hast gone up; He hath bent, he hath crouched as a lion, And as a lioness; who causeth him to arise?  10 The sceptre turneth not aside from Judah, And a lawgiver from between his feet, Till his Seed come; And his [is] the obedience of peoples.  11 Binding to the vine his ass, And to the choice vine the colt of his ass, He hath washed in wine his clothing, And in the blood of grapes his covering;  12 Red [are] eyes with wine, And white [are] teeth with milk!” (YLT)    or

Gen 49:8-12, ” Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.  Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?  10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.  11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:  12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.”  (KJV)

“Till his Seed come”  or “until Shiloh come” are speaking of Christ.  Both Seed and Shiloh are capitalized, indicating a proper noun.  The Seed is Christ, the promised Messiah, prophesied from Gen. 3:15, 12:3, 18:18; 2 Sam. 7:12; 1 Chron. 17:11; Is. 53:10; Is. 65:9; and affirmed in John 7:42; Acts 3:25. 13:23; Rom. 1:3, Gal. 3:16.  When his Seed, Christ, came, then the sceptre was removed from Judah, from Israel, and given to Christ.

When did Christ receive the crown?  When was He crucified?  The days in which the scepter was removed from Judah and given unto Christ, the Messiah, the promised seed of Abraham were the last days!  They were the last days of fleshly Israel, the last days of the Old Covenant, the last days of the sacrificial Mosaic law.

All of these had been looking for the coming of the Lord, the coming of the promised Messiah.  Christ came in the flesh during the last days!   That has been almost 2,000 years ago.  All of the references in the New Covenant, the New Testament to the last days are contemporary with their generation, their century, the first century A.D.

Every time you read about “the last days” or “these last days” in the New Testament the time is the first century A.D., the generation in which Christ was made manifest on earth.  They are not our days!  Eusebius understood this well.

“For we must understand by ‘the end of the days’ [viz., the “last days”, LXX Gen. 49:1) the end of the national existence of the Jews. What, then, did he say they must look for? The cessation of the rule of Judah, the destruction of their whole race, the failing and ceasing of their governors, and the abolition of dominant kingly position of the tribe of Judah, and the rule and kingdom of Christ, not over Israel but over all nations, according to the word, ‘This is the expectation of the nations.’” Eusebius, Demonstratio Evangelica, VIII, ccclxxv; Ferrar ed.

Heb. 1:2, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” (KJV)

The book of Hebrews was written approximately 60 – 65 A.D.  The author was speaking to the Hebrew converts, the Jewish Christians that had converted to Christ.  He was telling them that Christ, the Son of God, spoke to them in the last days.  They were living in the last days when they heard Christ speak to them!

Acts 2:16-17, “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”  (KJV)

Peter was declaring that what they saw and heard on the day of Pentecost in either 30 or 33 A.D. was that which had been prophesied by Joel, the pouring forth of the Holy Spirit which was to occur in the last days. There is a semi-colon after vs. 16, where Peter continues the thought and restates the prophesy of Joel 2.  Peter affirmed that the day of Pentecost occurred in the last days!

All of the references in the New Testament to “the last days” are referring to the end of the Jewish old covenant, their temple worship, and feast days, and sacrificial practices.  Christ’s coming, his appearance on earth, His sacrifice at the cross, His ascension into Heaven established His kingdom forever, and abolished the fleshly carnal covenant God had previously made with Israel.

The culmination of the last days occurred in the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in A.D. 70.  All of the references in the New Testament to those last days were looking forward to His second coming, his second appearance, as promised to that generation in the first century A.D. specifically A.D. 70, which was future to them, but past for us.  When we read the New Testament today, we must place those references in the proper time in the first century A.D., in that generation.

There is no end to Christ’s Kingdom!  There are no END TIMES.  All those who are caught up in these false prophesies today for the end of the world, or End Times, are misguided, or ignorant of God’s word.  Either that, or they are shills for the international “banksters”, Jesuits, and Zionists who are responsible for generating that futurist millennial view of Revelation.  (Click “more stories” above and see previous post, “It’s Not the End of the World, Part VI – The Zionist / Jesuit Deceit” for this evidence.)

Is. 2:2, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.”  (KJV)

Isaiah prophesied that the Lord’s house, his kingdom would be established in the last days, and that all nations would flow unto it.  When was Christ’s kingdom established?   When He was crucified for the sins of the world, when He then ascended to the Father, He received the kingdom.  That happened in the first century A.D.   The prophecy of Isaiah 2:2 is completed, fulfilled in Christ.

Micah 4:1, “But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.” (KJV)

In the Old Covenant the house of the Lord was the temple in Jerusalem.  There were strict rules under the old covenant that gentiles, or strangers could not enter into the house of the Lord, or the temple.  It was a death sentence for a gentile to go beyond the outer court into the inner court.  If all nations, or all people are to flow into the house of the Lord, then the prophesies of Isaiah and Micah cannot be referring to the earthly temple that stood at Jerusalem.

It is an Old Testament phrase, understood to be the temple where the priests, the anointed ones could go to offer sacrifices for the people.  Once Christ became the sacrifice for all people for all time, once He became our High Priest, where is that temple today?  Where are our sacrifices today?

The earthly temple was replaced by Christ. He became our High Priest, and He offered the sacrifice for our sins. (Heb. 5:1, 8:13)  The temple, or house of the Lord today is a spiritual temple, and our sacrifices are the fruit of our lips, giving praise to His name continually, and to do good works.  (Heb. 13:15,16).

1 Pet. 2:5, ” Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”  (KJV)

The house of the Lord is now a spiritual temple, a spiritual kingdom, an everlasting kingdom.  An everlasting kingdom has no end!  (Psa 135:13; Dan. 4:3; 7:27; 2 Pet. 1:11)  It is not an earthly kingdom.  His sacrifice paid for all of our sins, for all those who answer the call of the gospel of Christ, put on Christ, and are in the body of Christ, and are in His kingdom.  It will never end! (Eph. 3:21)

The old covenant was with fleshly Israel.  The new covenant is with spiritual Israel.  All those that are in Christ, that have put on Christ are of the seed of Abraham, and are of spiritual Israel.

Is. 45:17, “But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.” (KJV)

This prophesy spoke of the coming of the Lord and his establishment, the restoration of the way back to God, the everlasting salvation offered through the blood of Christ. (Matt 17:11, Mark 9:12;)  An everlasting salvation never ends.  The kingdom of God, the house of the Lord is now a spiritual home.  It does not end.

Those who look for an “end of the world” scenario are counting their days in vain.  They are wasting the time that God gave them to do the good works they are supposed to do.  They are moaning and complaining, and sitting back, expecting Him to come back and clean up our mess for us.  They are lazy, and unprofitable (Matt 25:30), and false prophets.  The end of the false prophet was death.  If his prophesy did not come true, he was stoned.

Did God interfere with the free will of man when Stalin and Lenin killed millions in Russia in the 20th century?  Did God interfere with the free will of man when the Axis and Allied powers killed millions in WW II?   Did God interfere with the free will of man when Mao killed and starved millions of people in China?  Did God interfere with the free will of man when Khan swept through Mongolia?

Men have free will.  Those of God use it to do good.  Others, not of God, use it to do evil.  All of us suffer the consequences of those who work evil.  When we do not stand up for God against the wicked and evil people, we allow their evil deeds to prosper and grow.  He is waiting for us to stand up!  If you sit back and wait for Him to do our work, you are going to be waiting a long time.  And, you are going to be judged for your unwillingness to stand for Him when you were supposed to.

So, prophets of the end of the world… you need to stop the false prophesies, and study God’s word.  We all need to stand up for Him and do His will.  Christ died for us.  We owe it to Him to stand for Him against all evil and wicked acts.

Sad. That’s what happens when you believe in the preterism interpretation of prophecy.

I believe in what the scriptures say Amminadab. Please tell me where the scriptures say differently than I have quoted. If we are going to disagree it should be based upon scripture, and not what we want to believe.
