Good and evil, who’s winning?
Good relies on free will,
evil on the absence of free will.
Use it or lose it.
Good emancipates the soul.
Evil imprisons it.
We are enslaved as if caught in quicksand when we sin.
But the realisation of that sin still enables us to free ourselves from it.
National downfall is the accumulation of every sin, of every soul,
and this is where President Kennedy’s famous words resonate “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”
This is the time to respond to that challenge. By freeing ourselves from sin we save the nation. I don’t know how many that takes but I do know your and my not doing it won’t.
Let’s take today. It’s the only day we will ever have. Tomorrow never comes.

Perhaps the weather is nice, people are polite, there’s food on the table, the kids are not in trouble. It’s a good time to make a new start. It’s the only time we have.
