The Asus UL20FT is a 12.1 inch ultraportable laptop with a low power 1.2GHz Intel Core i3-330uM processor. The Asus UL20FT is a lightweight notebook that was first presented in May 2010 and is now available for pre-order online at ExcaliberPC with a price tag of $580. With ASUS FastBoot technology, Windows 7-enabled ASUS notebooks start up in a staggering 30 seconds. It is 40% faster than 32-bit operating systems.

UL20Ft is an updated version of the Asus UL20A series were some of the first laptops on the market to use Intel Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) processors. The ASUS UL20A was the first 12-inch laptop in the UL series and quickly became popular with students and working adults who needed a lightweight laptop. The unfortunate down side to the UL20A was that it used a relatively low-performance version of the CULV processors. Now ASUS has revived the UL20 as the UL20FT, featuring a new Core i3 low voltage processor and a larger hard drive. The notebook chassis itself remains unchanged other than a slight modification to accommodate a new 16:9 ratio widescreen display.
Asus UL20FT laptop comes with Intel GMA HD graphics, 4GB DDR RAM, a large 500GB 5400rpm SATA HDD storage space, and a 12.1-inch HD LED display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels. For connectivity, you will get 802.11b/g/n, WiFi, and 10/100 Ethernet LAN ports, and we presume there should be a USB2.0. compatible interface ports for external data connectivity.
