You can make video calls quickly with just a network or Wi-Fi connection. This is the app you use if all your friends use iPhones.
3. Hangouts. Trust Google to join the video chat niche, and the Hangouts app is a doozy. This lets you chat with up to 10 people, and you can share photos as well. If you’re one of the few Google+ users, it’s also directly integrated already in your profile. This also goes beyond smartphones, as you can use it with tablets too.
4. Viber. This video app is fast gaining lots of fans, and it’s not surprising considering the benefits. Messaging, photo messaging, and video calling services are all free, although calls are only possible with other Viber users. What’s more, group calls can include up to 40 people!
