This Table is Made From an Accurate 3D Model of the Moon’s Surface
When it comes to inspirational source material, NASA’s archive of open source multimedia is a treasure trove for creatives. No, seriously.
Among others, French designer Harold Sangourd recently pulled some source material for the creation of his Apollo 11 Table—a tribute to the famous NASA expedition.
The table, which consists of molded fiberglass covering a lunar crater, was created using digital images from NASA’s archives to accurately recreate the surface of the moon. The space motif continues on down to the legs of the table—which are modeled closely after those of actual moon-landing spacecraft.
The table is closely modeled after Sangourd’s APOLLO Landscapes collection—a collection manufactured through a similar 3D modeling process using NASA’s open source imagery:
“In order to recreate the topology of the surface of the Moon, it was necessary to obtain digital files from the NASA archives,” explains Harow. “The physical properties of lunar soil are the result of the gradual disintegration of rocks, caused by continuous bombardment from meteorites over millions of years. The three surfaces (of the collection), recreated as mural installations, correspond precisely to areas of lunar earth.”
The resulting wall pieces, made from polyurethane and supported by a steel frame, are a clever use of NASA’s archives and a spot-on tribute to the day Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon.

They can quit feeding us BS about the moon. What is really up there is top secret. This is not a matter of national security as it is not even on our planet. I will explain how they lie, how long they have been lying, and give you some proof. They have been in orbit around the moon since the very early 60s at the latest. Japan has plans to put solar panels all the way around the moon and beam the energy to Earth. The locked tide orbit of the moon makes it the ultimate weapons base and the far side the best observatory place half of every month. Now let us deal with the dark side. The dark side does not exist.
A simple experiment that proves the last statement is this. Pick any pole or tree or even a chair. Light travels in a straight line. You are the moon in this model. As you circle the object representing the Earth you always present your front side to the Earth model. An observer watching you and the moon models will see your back side as you pass between the Earth model as the observer. The light reflecting from you and your cloths travel equally as straight as the light from the sun traveling to the Earth and the moon. This tells you that the dark side is lit half of every month. Lie by omission they expected you to believe the far side is always dark. They have shown you pictures of the far side of the moon for decades and they are always unlit.
Indications are images of the moon are stamped with layers of computer art. The lie continues on what is on the moon. They are in complete control of all (private) space ventures.
