Using Cayenne Pepper to Stop Bleeding! You Won't Believe This!
Believe it or not it stops the bleeding AMAZINGLY fast.
And it does not burn or sting!
All you need to do is to pour the cayenne pepper powder directly onto the cut or laceration.
In addition to stopping the bleeding from exterior wounds, cayenne also works for internal hemorrhages inside the nose, stomach and throat. In these cases, of course, the cayenne must be taken orally.
Dr. John Christopher recommends:
“…take a teaspoonful of cayenne in a glass of extra-warm water, drink it down, and by the count of ten, the bleeding will stop. Instead of all the pressure being centralized, it is equalized, and the clotting becomes more rapid. How Does Cayenne Pepper Stop Bleeding?
Cayenne Pepper is high in Vitamin K – the vitamin that coagulates the blood. It is the powdered vitamin that was given to soldiers in WWII to pour over the wound in case they were shot.
Most sources say that cayenne pepper reacts with the body to equalize the blood pressure, meaning an extra gushing of pressure will not be concentrated in the wound area as it normally is. Blood will quickly clot when the pressure is equalized. I personally don’t understand this mechanism…
In addition to stopping bleeding, cayenne pepper is a great herb to disinfect the wound because it posses anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
After the bleeding stops you can add a plantain bondage. Cayenne pepper works for small and medium cuts. Call 911 if you have a life- threatening hemorrhage (including liver, femoral, heart, lungs, jugular areas).

“It does not burn or sting” Well, you sir can pay the medical bills for everyone that has a heart attack from the shock of the pretty severe pain. It most assuredly DOES “burn and sting”. It also does stop the bleeding, but damn, don’t use as much as in that photo.. I’ve bveen a life extension student for well over 20 years now .. although for persoinal realsons (including the wxhoebitant expense) I no longer practice it , I still know enough to take issue at this . Cayenne IS good for acute bleeding , in emergencies, but if you’re prone to excessive bleeding, better to have a shake heavy in dark leafy greens …
