Geologists Can't Find Life on Mars.

Reasons:

1. Martian organics concentrate in fossil tissues/cells, but geologists see no fossil tissues/cells on Mars. So, NASA scientists look for Martian organics in “magic minerals”, which possess far less organics than fossil tissues/cells.  

2. Further evidence: “We don’t know yet what magic minerals exist on Mars that could have trapped and preserved organics.” (John Grotzinger on magic minerals at   http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/blogs/index.cfm?FuseAction=ShowBlogs&BlogsID=283 ) 

3. More evidence: “And just as with microfossils on Earth, we first have to learn where organics on Mars might be preserved. So that’s what we’re going to try and do.” (John Grotzinger at the end of  http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/blogs/index.cfm?FuseAction=ShowBlogs&BlogsID=283 )

Besides the organics quantity issue, the quality (origin, nature) of organics found cannot be ascertained, as NASA scientists did not prepare for perchlorates on Mars. It’s a gross negligence. NASA should ask biologists to identify possible fossil tissues/cells before Mars rover Curiosity drills for future samples.
