She is so passionate about meeting new people , inspiring the world and herself at the same time. She is pure inspiration and she is opening her heart and soul for us today. Who is Irma Romano?

Irma with an I they call me. People are amazed that my name is Irma. I think I have met only 4 of us in my lifetime. Growing up in Montreal I disliked my name so much I wanted to have a normal name like Linda you know I wanted to fit in. Now I would not change it for the world. Not spelled with a U or E and no my name is not UMA.

Tell me more about MASSAGE PLANET NEWS & its beginnings

Massage Planet News chose me I did not choose it. I started having awakenings back in December of 2011. I went through painful experiences that transformed my life and shifted my consciousness a few degrees higher. I haven’t stopped vibrating since then literally. I feel heat and energy all the time coming out of my hands or my third eye is opening. I also had energy swirl through my body like a tornado and lights going on and off around me by themselves. The path to being the host and producer of Massage Planet News was not a goal it was like the Universe had a plan for me and I was listening.

Did you ever dream this up as a child? (Being a host, traveling the world and meeting interesting people)

As I child I had a big imagination. When I was four or five years old I tried entering my books and being inside the books or coming up with plays and performed them for my family. I did very poorly in the school system and was always staring out the window imagining things never paying attention to the teacher. In grade four they wanted to fail me I was so spaced out. I was completely bored and disconnected with class and other kids I never knew how to fit in. Even in kindergarten I would watch other kids play and observe instead of playing with other children. I wanted to be a performer at a very young age.  My family are traveler’s kind of gypsies and I grew up seeing a lot of the world. My mother is Spanish from Madrid and my father who is Italian was born in Madagascar. I was born in France and they haven’t stopped moving not even in their old age. Travel is all I really know. Standing still makes me nervous and that is where I struggle in life. Staying in one place, same job, and faces dulls me to the point of feeling uncomfortable. I have to learn to get rooted and I am not sure I ever will? If I ever own a house it will have wheels.

Reader reaction, tell me about the most memorable feedback of folks on your work lately.

Readers have been so supportive of Massage Planet News. The response has been very positive and inspiring to others.  I want to make a change in the profession on so many levels and inspire through interviews, videos, books by sharing the stories of so many wonderful individuals.  This is how I know that the work is beyond me and truly meant to happen. Many of my interviews have been synchronistic in nature. I can only say that there is a power greater than me at work here and I just send the message out to the world.

Your mentors, greatest influences.

My mentors are spiritual writers who speak of the soul and take your consciousness to another level. They inspire me to better myself and love myself. I like their workshops, books, listening to online coaching. There are so many of them. My personal spiritual couch who has changed my life is Kimberly Carroll a Canadian show host who now helps people grow their spiritual selves. She will always be in my heart. In the end we all have to look at ourselves and soul for the deeper answers and we all have the power to find guidance within.

A day in the life of Irma.

My days consist of waking up and going to bed feeling inspired and grateful for what I have. I spend my day doing interviews, serving others through massage therapy, writing, and workshops. My life’s work revolves around service of others and loving humanity. When I say loving it means going beyond judgment, criticism, and the ego. Letting it go so you can learn to love unconditionally and be more conscious. If we all woke up together this would be a different world. Easier said than done. It means taking our old conditioning and downloading it to make room for a better program. When you reach a point in life where you no longer need suffering as your teacher you can begin to transform your life into another reality. A shift to a higher vibration and you start to attract different people in your life.

Your next travel destinations.

I am learning not to make too many plans ahead of time. They say life happens while you are busy making plans. My travels right now are in Canada, the USA. My second book is on massage therapy around the world and healing which is a project that will start in Asia and Africa. There are so many countries and body work as well as healers in the world this project will take years to accomplish. But the goal is to do one continent then another. That is why I have only two suitcases with me and nothing more.

Your dream destinations and guests  

My dream destinations are Africa because I have history there and my uncle went back to Madagascar a few years back and found my father’s birth certificate. The Great Wall of China and Tibet. I would really like to interview the way of life in the Tibet Mountains and the tea culture, as well as meditation practices. There are so many countries but these are my top three. My dream guests would include me in a room with Eckhart Tolle, Ram Dass, Lilou Mace, the Dalai Lama. There are so many I don’t know where to begin.

What is LOVE?

Love to me is God. It is the creative energy that is in everything everywhere you look. It is light and unconditional LOVE. We would not be here without it. This light is what makes up our consciousness and it is what created the human form so it would know itself. WE are the co-creators with this life force and eternal intelligence. We are connected to it as children.

What have you learned about yourself in the last 5 years?

I have grown more in the last year than the years before that. Six years ago I became a massage therapist and I have been a strong independent woman who have conquered herself. My path has always been a spiritual one whether I knew it at the time or not. Every experience brought me closer to wanting to be at peace and finding love within myself so that I could bring love into the world and be of service to others. I now realize that the good and bad were teachers to bring me to my awakening.

If you can change one thing about the world… what would you change?

If I could change one thing in the world is to tell everyone you are the God you have been looking for in your life. To help humanity remember who they are and what they can become so that we unshackle ourselves all at once to a system that doesn’t not serve us anymore. We are so much more than we are told as children.

What is the significance of 2012 for you? What is the significance of Massage and Massage therapy in this day and age?

2012 means so much to me because everyone is talking about the shift of energy and planetary changes, that the light workers are here and so on. For me these are not just words I read or listen to I have had the change go through me directly in my body changing my consciousness. So I know that this shift is happening. When I listen to spiritual teacher speak of 2012  I can grasp the concept not in the thinking mind but in a direct knowing which is the best way to understand the Source or energy shift that is happening at this time. Massage therapy now and healing is going through a dramatic shift as well. We will be changing the way we heal people because we will not look at them only in the physical form we will be going beyond the physical and into the energy body which only a few healers use to do. Now we are ready to accept that we are more than just a body we are souls. If the soul is unbalanced than the illness will manifest itself in the body. You will be seeing more wellness centers that heal through energy work, plants, looking at the entire being not just the symptoms. These centers are being developed in many countries. Medicin less hospitals and surgeries performed from a distance. Massage therapy is increasing in demand year after year and will only be increasing in the years to follow.

You’re a Registered Massage Therapist. Any tips for having a best massage experience?

I graduated from massage school in 2006 in Toronto in a two year program. The course is based on Swedish massage and I have since taken Thai Massage and other modalities but now my mission is journalism, doing documentaries and writing book. My massage clients are geared towards a niche market for athletes, film sets, people who travel internationally, so that I can keep doing my work with Massage Planet News. The best way to have a great massage experience is to know your massage therapist and develop a relationship with them. Walking into a place without a referral is risky business just like walking into a salon for a haircut. Anything can happen? Some are good others not so good. I will be doing a video on the do’s and don’ts and posting it for references but my book Massage Inc will have more details on the subject.

Your one message to the CHILDREN of the world.

My message to the children of the world is to be yourself and that it is more important to Be than to DO. You are perfect beings of light a soul having a human experience. Children know that the source is around them when they look at a tree or flower or in a room. Children teach adults how to live with no fear and only in the moment. We can all learn from them on how to be joyful and at peace by watching them be innocent connected to all things. I am excited to see the Crystal children and the souls wanting to come here at this time to change the world we live in. They will be our greatest teachers and healers.
