A Prayer for Unsaved Loved Ones

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for the precious life of _____. You conceived him in the wisdom of your infinite mind before the foundation of the world. His days were written in your books before he ever breathed his first breath. You created _____ fearfully and wonderfully and placed your image upon him.

But Lord _____ doesn’t know you and is danger of perishing in the Lake of Fire apart from you for all eternity. Father, you don’t wish for any to perish but desire that all would come to repentance.

Father I come before your Throne of Grace confidently and I stand in the gap between you and _____. I appeal to your righteousness and justice in the name of Jesus Christ and I plead the precious blood of Jesus Christ over his life.

Oh God save ____. Cause him to be born again. Give _____ faith. Overcome his resistance by your irresistible grace. Incline his heart toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

Father draw _____ to the Son by your Holy Spirit. Let your Holy Spirit prepare the way of salvation. Grant him the grace to repent unto eternal life. Give him the fear of the Lord that he might turn away from evil.

Take out the heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh. Remove the veil from his mind. Remove the scales and blinders from _____’s eyes and unstop his ears. Loosen his neck and fill him with your perfect love. Let him be broken in spirit, pricked to the heart and grant him full and complete contrition, repentance and godly sorrow. Remove any and all barriers and obstacles that are preventing _____ from knowing the Lord Jesus Christ – including wicked people, addictions, strongholds and hopeless circumstances.

Send your servants into his path, even today Father. Send your bondservants full of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, faith and compassion to speak the Word of Truth and Life into the heart of _____. Dispatch angels to minister unto _____ and to war in the spirit on his behalf. Lord place your hedge of protection around _____ and spread out your covering over him.

Expose the traps and snares of the enemy. Bind pride and rebellion in _____. Bind idolatry, witchcraft, covetousness and sensuality.

Bind the lies, deception and confusion of the enemy in _____’s mind. Bind every negative and ungodly attitude, addiction, idea, desire, habit, behavior and belief. Break the power of the world, the flesh and the evil one in _____’s life.

Send forth your Word to heal _____. Bind up his broken heart and set him free from captivity, bondage and oppression. Satan and all of his fallen angels and demons are defeated and have been overcome by the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and must bow before His name. The devil’s works are destroyed in _____’s life in Jesus’ name.

Raise _____ from spiritual death to life and reveal your purpose and plan for his life. Justify and redeem _____ in the name of Jesus. Fill him with your perfect love and the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father you know _____ better than I ever could and you love him more than I ever will. Lord I entrust _____ into your care and trust that you will bring this about in your time and in your way apart from any selfish agenda or timeline that I have in mind. I cannot control you or this situation and I repent of ever trying to do so.

Lord let not _____’s name be blotted out of the Lamb’s Book of Life but let him worship you in Spirit and in Truth throughout all of the ages to come.
