Superstar LeBron James, out for several games due to an injury, was rumored to be apart of potentially the biggest scandal in recent memory for the NBA.
Someone from Cleveland with the name “Lebron”—notice the spelling—was suspended for steroid use, according to Bleacher Report.
However, it wasn’t the beloved King James but Cleveland Indians minor league outfielder Steven Lebron. Steven Lebron was suspended for 50 games for using horse steroids, said Gather.
The entire Cleveland region, for a short while, was shocked because of the news. But alas, the rumors dissipated, and can watch the Cavaliers play out their last games before the playoffs start.
James will resume playing on Friday night in a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers after recovering from a twisted ankle.
The superstar said he would have liked to play injured for the several games he missed but felt the coaching decision to keep him sidelined was the best option. He practiced on Thursday for the first time since he was injured while playing against the Detroit Pistons last Friday.
“It’s not often you can look in the schedule and get a week off and only miss two games, so we took advantage of it,” said James in an Associated Press report.
