Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is 32-16 as a starter for one of the most high profile teams in the National Football League, but knows that he and the team he is in charge of still has a ways to go to reach the highest pinnacle of the NFL.

“Not necessarily any ceiling on what I can do or what this team can do. It’s just been about work. Simply just working to get better in every aspect of my game, making sure my teammates are doing the same. We’re excited for the position we’re in.”

With the division in a state of transition, the Cowboys will be the favorites to win the NFC East, but that’s always easier said than done.

The Giants are nowhere near close selling off the likes of Odell Beckham for not much more than magic beans, the Redskins have a rookie starting at quarterback, and the Eagles have had big injury issues that always seem to be their worst enemy.

Prescott feels good about the makeup of this team. With an offense that boasts the likes of Amari Cooper and the return of tight end Jason Witten.

This is a team with a high ceiling, and Prescott knows that he has a shot to live out his dream of taking one of the biggest franchises in sports to a title.

“I was once the kid that dreamed about playing college football and playing in the NFL and playing for the Cowboys. Look, I’m here now. I’m no different than them. They’re no different from me. They control their dreams. Never let anyone tell them what they can or can’t do,” Prescott said.

That’s a task he’s hoping to make a reality in 2019.
