Report: Patriots Have Agreed to Terms with Wide Receiver Antonio Brown

The Patriots are set to add maybe the biggest playmaker in the league, as reports from Adam Schefter state that the Pats have agreed to terms with troubled wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Brown was released by the Raiders on Saturday after a number of issues, as the team voided his contract after the receiver asked for a trade.

The Steelers traded Brown this offseason to Oakland for just a third and fifth round draft pick, and it remains to be seen if Brown is going to respond well to the way that the Pats do business.

Many will equate the situation with Brown going to New England to when the Pats inked Randy Moss, another player who failed during his time with the Raiders.

Moss was possibly the best wide out in the game during his time with the Pats, but of course the team did not win a Super Bowl with him, falling to the Giants in the season they went 16-0 in the regular season.

Brown will not be able to take the field in week one against the Steelers, but can start to practice this week and play in week two.
