The 3 Most Exciting Matchups From the 2021 Falcons Schedule
The Atlanta Falcons 2020 season was a disaster, as the team went 4-12, a season that was a lost cause as the team just didn’t live up to it’s potential.
2021 is another year, a new year, and Atlanta is looking to put last year away and start fresh as they take the field for another season.
They have a new coach in Arthur Smith, and the hope is that Matt Ryan and the offense can get back on track.
Today we look at three games that are the most exciting for the Falcons, and how these games pair up for the Falcons.
10/3 at Washington – The WFT is a team that came out of nowhere last season to win the NFC East, and they think with picking up Ryan Fitzpatrick to play QB in 2021 that their offense will be even better. Can the Falcons defense stop Washington? There’s going to be a lot of questions about this game, and it should be a fun one.
10/24 at Miami – The Dolphins are led by coach Brian Flores, former LB coach of the Pats, and they started their new look franchise last season with Flores leading the way. Miami has Tua Tagovailoa installed as the starting QB, and he should look to go downfield early and often. Again it’ll rest on the Falcons defense to hold Miami in check all day in South Florida.
11/18 vs New England – In the past this was a huge game, but with Tom Brady wearing a Bucs uniform and another Super Bowl ring, the Pats are just not the same team. They missed the postseason in 2020, and the Falcons are hoping to add another ‘L’ to their column when they go at it in late November. Cam Newton is slated right now to be the Pats starting QB, and he knows the Falcons very well.
