Three ‘Can’t Miss’ Games for the Seahawks in 2021

The Seahawks last season won the NFC West with a mark of 12-4. It looked as if the team was ready to make a serious Super Bowl run, but a pothole stopped their run.

The rival Rams came into Lumen Field and laid down a win to knock Seattle out of the playoffs, ending the season much to the shock of many fans.

Now the team is looking to be more consistent, and they want to make their head coach Pete Carroll who has been there for some time proud as they take the field.

On Wednesday night, the NFL released the 2021 Seahawks schedule, and we couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season!

After looking through the schedule and giving it some careful consideration, these are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

09/26 at Minnesota – Seattle heads to the road as they head almost exactly sideways to go to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. Minnesota has a couple big playmakers on both sides of the ball, and why they look a lot like a .500 club, they on the road will have to be dealt with, so the Hawks can’t just assume it’s an easy win.

10/17 at Pittsburgh – Playing in Heinz Field in prime time isn’t easy, but the Steelers lost to Cleveland in the playoffs so there is more than enough hope for the Hawks as they head in for a big 8:20pm EST game on NBC. The big matchup in this game is Russell Wilson trying to avoid that Pittsburgh pass rush, with T.J. Watt leading the way.

12/19 at Los Angeles Rams – After losing at home in the playoffs to the Rams, the team will look for revenge to hand the Rams a big home loss. It’ll be interesting to see where these two teams stand on December 19th, as it could be a huge game in terms of long term records of who will take home the NFC West.
