The 3 Most Exciting Matchups From the 2021 Eagles Schedule

When the Eagles took the field in 2020 it was a massive struggle, as the team had problems being consistent, and also couldn’t keep the ball in their own hands.

Now though the 2021 season has technically started, as the draft is over and the Eagles have a new coach, a new QB and new major skill spots.

So will they be competitive in 2021 hanging with the very best in the NFC East? Only time will tell, but they have matchups with the likes of the Cowboys, Giants and Washington.

It should be a fun season to watch to see if the Eagles can turn things back around.

While there’s a number of great matchups on the Eagles slate, including divisional games vs Dallas, the Washington and Giants, the team also has a number of great games, home and away to look forward to.

Here are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

09/19 – San Francisco 49ers – They’ve got a lot more talent than a year ago when they were hurt, but that does not mean that it’ll be an easy task to get a win over the Eagles. With new QB Jalen Hurts, the Eagles have a number of shots to be good in 2021,

10/14 at Las Vegas – The Eagles head to ‘Sin City’ in October for a battle with Jon Gruden and the Raiders, a game that could be defined by big plays. The Raiders have plenty of talent and it’ll be up to the Eagles to come up with ways to stop Las Vegas and quarterback Derek Carr.

01/02 – at Washington – With vet Ryan Fitzpatrick and Washington looking to repeat, look for a 2021 affair that could be a fun one. Jalen Hurts will have plenty of pressure on him to make plays – we will see if he can do, and not out his young body at risk when he takes the field for this game.
