The 3 Most Exciting Matchups From the 2021 Titans Schedule

The 2020 Tennessee Titans were a team with attitude, led by 2,000 yard rusher Derrick Henry, who was once again at it as one of the best in the NFL.

Tennessee got off to a 5-0 start, but then they fell victim at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who were in the midst of their own 11-0 run before they totally fell apart and ended the year 12-4.

The Titans are looking to take another step forward in 2021, as they will look to the NFL’s second season as a time they can make an impact in the NFL.

While there’s a number of great matchups on the Titans slate, including divisional games vs the Colts, Jaguars and Texans Browns, the team also has a number of great games, home and away to look forward to.

Here are the 3 matchups that I’m most looking forward to:

9/26 vs Indianapolis – The Colts with Carson Wentz are a totally different team, and it should be fun to see how different the team is now that Wentz is aboard. A home win over the Colts would make a huge impact for the Titans in 2021 after splitting two games in 2020.

10/24 vs Kansas City – Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs remain one of, if not the most dangerous offensives’ in the NFL in 2021. Many think that it’s just a matter of playing the games and that the Chiefs will again be playing in the Super Bowl in SoFi Stadium. This game could set a precedent for the rest of the season.

12/19 at Pittsburgh – The Steelers started 2020 at 11-0, but won just one game down the stretch to prove this team truly wasn’t for real last season. The Steelers built a big lead on the Titans before winning the game 27-24. Can Tennessee match the Steelers from a physical perspective? That’s a huge question.
