And the hits just keep coming for the beleaguered Giants, with the team’s star running back Saquon Barkley testing positive for COVID-19, this despite the fact that he is vaccinated. According to Ian Rapoport, if Barkley hopes to play this coming Sunday, he’ll need two negative tests within 24 hours and no symptoms in order to get cleared.

Saquon Barkley has missed the last three games after suffering a sprained ankle during the Giants 44-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5. Even if he’s cleared to play, it’s tough to say if he’ll be ready to suit up, it all depends on the status of his ankle.
EDIT: (Nov 5th) New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley returns to the team, as he doesn’t have COVID-19. According to Dr. Allen Sills, the NFL’s chief medical officer, it was a false positive:
“Bio-Reference Laboratories (BRL) is experiencing an unusually high number of false positives using the Rapid Mesa Test at our facility. With the exception of one individual, all of the positive Mesa test results over the last two days have come back negative through PCR testing,” the Giants said in a statement on Thursday. “The laboratory is working with experts to determine the source of the problem.”
“The NFL and BRL are monitoring this situation closely. We are temporarily halting the use of the Rapid Mesa Test and administering PCR tests only.”
The question now, will Barkley be ready to play on Sunday, given the time he lost while stuck at home. Fingers crossed!

I thought we all came to the collective conclusion that the PCR test was a complete failure and should never be used. They used this test on purpose so they could manipulate the numbers. Because covid is only a pandemic on paper as they also count the false positive tests. So when was that ever a thing in medicine?? He are the facts if you don’t feel sick guess what? Your not sick!
