OTL: On to the Offseason

Happy Monday, Flock.

The Ravens can take solace in the fact that they weren’t the only top seed in the conference to be no match for the inevitability of the Kansas City Chiefs. The San Francisco 49ers were awesome all season, locked up home field advantage in the NFC, and like the Ravens were in the discussion about all-time best DVOA teams.

Unlike the Ravens, they got out to a 10-point lead on the Chiefs.

Didn’t matter.

KC did what they do: figured out a way, winning 25-22 in overtime.

Hang the banner!

Looking even further ahead to the NFL Draft, which position is at the top of your list? Cole asks the question here:

I won’t tell you what I voted for, but I’ll say that one position is currently running away with the poll.

Speaking of the draft, our guy James Ogden will be back with his huge draft guide for 2024, and we’ll be beginning to post his player evaluations in the coming weeks in RSR’s Ravens Draft Central. For a fun trip down memory lane, here’s what he had to say about Kyle Hamilton two years ago:

Finally today, I’d be remiss to not give our latest update on the Ravens’ 2023 first-round pick, Zay Flowers. Here’s where that all stands, as far as we know:

Do with that what you will.

Let’s close out on a happier note, shall we?

Thanks for the optimism, Dev!
